Karnataka DCET 2024 Registration

To begin the Karnataka DCET 2024 application process, the candidates must first register themselves with the KEA’s official portal by following the below – mentioned steps.

Karnataka DCET 2024 Registration Process

Step 1 - New User Registration

• Visit the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and click on the link showing ‘DCET 2024 UG Online Application’.
• Now, click on the link showing ‘New User? Click Here to Register’.

Step 2 - Enter Details in the Registration Form

• Fill in the correct details in the registration form that shall appear on the screen.
• Details like the name of the candidate, email id, mobile number, etc. shall be entered.

Step 3 – Verification of email id and mobile number

• Candidates shall be sent an OTP on both the email id and the mobile number to confirm the same.

Step 4 - Registration Confirmation

• After the successful registration, the candidates will receive a confirmation mail and an SMS, containing the login credentials, that is the registration id and the application number.
• Keep the credentials to complete the further application process.

Forget Password

• If in case the students forget their password, they are given the chance to reset the same by following the below - mentioned steps.

Recover Password through Registered E - mail id

Step 1: First, candidates are required to open the login page on the KEA website and enter the registration id.

Step 2: If the registration id is correct and matches the stored database, a reset password link will be shown on the same page.

Step 3: Candidates must click on the forgot password link.

Step 4: Now, the link to change the password will be shared over the registered mail id, clicking on which will allow the candidates to reset the forgotten password.

Karnataka DCET 2024 Application Process

After successful registration with the KEA, the candidates must complete their final application process.

Step 1 – Open the Application Form

• After registering on the KEA’s online portal, use the registration/ user id and password for the fresh log - in.
• This will open up the Karnataka DCET 2023 application form.

Step 2 – Log in and fill in the Application Form

• Candidates must log in using the user registration id and password so generated through registration.
• Candidates shall enter the required personal, educational, and other details correctly in the application form and click on the ‘save and next’ button.

Step 3 – Upload the Documents

• Now, the candidates are required to upload their photograph, signature, and the parent’s signature and click on the ‘save and next’ button.

Step 4 – Review the Form and Tick the Declaration

• Finally, review the admission form and click on the ‘I agree’ checkbox to reassure that all the details that have been provided in the form are true to the knowledge of the candidate.

Step 5 – Payment of Application Fee

• With the successful registration, candidates shall be redirected to the bank challan.
• Candidates are required to take the printout of the challan and submit the same to the respective bank.
• Complete the process by paying the application fee. No admission forms are accepted without the payment of the fee.

Karnataka DCET 2024 Correction Window

• In particular time duration, an edit window shall be opened for the candidates to make corrections (if any) in the application form.
• Any kind of correction can be made in the already filled application form.

In order to complete the Karnataka DCET 2024 application process, candidates are required to make payment of the application fee through the challan. The challan has to be downloaded and submitted in the respective bank.
