The exam consists of multiple-choice questions in Mathematics and Logical Reasoning in part 1 and offers Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics and Engineering and Technology as optional subjects in part 2. Check Exam Pattern
Students should prepare for the exam with the help of respective subjects books and test themselves by taking mock tests. None of the subjects are theoretical and thus, require thorough practice to be able to solve even the trickiest questions in the exam.

Ques. Is ISI Admission Test tough?
Ans. ISI exam is moderate. However, due to limited seats, it becomes quite difficult to qualify the exam and get into top institutes.
Ques. What is a good score in ISI Admission Test?
Ans. A good score in ISI Admission Test varies from course to course. For B Stat, you score should be above 90 to be considered as a good score. But for B. Maths your score should be not less than 80 which is considered a safe score.
Ques. How many sections are there in ISI exam?
Ans. There are two sections in ISI Admission Test- Section A and Section B. Section A has 30 MCQs and Section B includes 70 marks descriptive questions.
Ques. What is ISI question paper pattern?
Ans. ISI question pattern includes 2 sections- Section A has 30 questions and Section B has 70 descriptive questions. In section A, there are MCQs, each consisting of 1 mark. There are no negative markings in ISI Admission Test.
