DSAT 2024 exam pattern is both online and offline. As per the official website, the early DSAT 2024 exam dates are January 27th and 28th, 2024. The question paper of DSAT 2024 exam will be set in English language only. You will be allotted with a total 75 MCQ based questions in DSAT 2024 exam. Ans. Your DSAT 2024 scorecard will remain valid for the current academic year only. It means you will not be able to participate in counselling process for admission in 2025 academic year with your 2024 scorecard.

Ques. What is DSAT 2024 exam eligibility criteria?

Ans. DSAT 2024 exam is conducted in both offline and online. The eligibility criteria for DSAT 2024 for different programs are detailed below:

  • BTech: passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% (for SC/ST 40%) marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and any of the Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Electronics and English as a compulsory subject
  • BCA/BBA: Passed in PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/ 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category)
  • BCom: Completed two-year Pre-University course of Karnataka State or its equivalent with Business Studies and Accountancy as two major subjects of study in both first and second year pre-university with aggregate of 50% PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/10+2 or Equivalent Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category)
  • MBA: Having Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration recognized by this University or who have passes any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent thereto. The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations

Ques.Are there any sectional time limit for completing DSAT 2024 exam?

Ans. There is no sectional time limit for completing DSAT 2024 examination. You can attempt any section of your choice, and you just have to complete the paper within 150 minutes time duration. It is advised in not spending more than 1-2 minutes for a single question.

DSAT 2024 Exam Pattern in Detail

DSAT 2024 will be conducted in an online as well as offline mode. DSAT 2024 question paper will be of Objective Type having multiple options (four). The exam paper will be published in the English language. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. One mark will be awarded for each right answer, while no mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. To appear in DSAT 2024 counselling, it is mandatory for every candidate to qualify DSAT 2024.

Question paper pattern will vary with the course opted for. There is no fixed question paper pattern for DSAT Exam.

  • For Undergraduate Courses, the questions paper will be mainly based on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English.

DSAT 2024 Important Instructions

According to official website, the early DSAT 2024 exam will be held on January 27th and January 28th, 2024. These are some important instructions for DSAT that candidates should follow.

  • A candidate will not be allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Admit Card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre/hall after the commencement of examination.
  • After the invigilator has verified DSAT 2024 Admit Card of the candidate, he must sign on the attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator and mention the hall ticket number also.
  • The candidate should follow the instructions given by the invigilators in the examination room
  • Candidates should not indulge in any argument with the invigilators or other staff involved in the examination duty at the examination center.
  • The candidate should neither talk to each other nor discuss any matter during the examination.
  • The candidate should not disturb other candidates in the examination room and maintain complete silence during the examination.
  • Candidates are not permitted to carry any electronic device and study material at examination hall like (Mobile, Bluetooth, Pager, watch, test series, books, model papers, etc.)
  • The decision of Dayananda Sagar University shall be final in all matters.
