Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has released the AP Inter 2025 supplementary result on June 7, 2025. The result is available on the official website bie.ap.gov.in and resultsbie.ap.gov.in. Candidates must log in with hall ticket number to check the supplementary results.
For General category candidates, 50,314 students appeared in AP Inter 1st year exams out of which 23,799 passed with a pass percenatge of 47%. A total of 39,783 appeared for AP Inter 2nd year exams of which 27,276 qualified, with a pass percentage of 69%.
AP Inter result 2025 has been declared on April 12, 2025. The results is released for both 1st year and 2nd year exams separately. The result link is activated at resultsbie.ap.gov.in and bieap.apcfss.in. To check your results, you have to enter your hall ticket number in the login window.
This year, the pass percentage for the AP Inter 1st year exam was 70% and 83% for 2nd year. Girls outshine boys in both years. AP Inter Supplementary Exam will be held from May 12 to 20, 2025. Andhra Pradesh Board will release the complete inter supplementary exam timetable on its official website bie.ap.gov.in. AP inter supplementary exams are conducted for students who fail in the board exams.
Students who wish to appear for AP inter supplementary exam need to submit the compartment exam registration forms within the stipulated time on the official website.

BIEAP will release the AP intermediate registration form 2025 on the official website bie.ap.gov.in. AP Intermediate Exam Pattern 2025
There are seven sections in the AP Intermediate class 12 examination. Students must secure a minimum of 35% marks per subject to pass AP intermediate exams. The examinations are to be conducted for a total of 3 hours.
The subjects in AP intermediate board are divided into following categories:
Subjects with maximum marks 100: English, Optional Languages (Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Urdu, Arabic, Tamil, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi), Commerce, Economics, Civics, History, Geology, Home Science, Sociology, Logic, Public Administration and Psychology.

SCIENCE STREAM: The exam duration for BIEAP Class 12 is three hours. The total marks allocated for the examination is 100 – 60 marks for theory paper and 40 marks for the practical assessment. Students preparing for AP inter exam need a clear understanding of the basic concepts of every subject. The theory paper of Physics, Chemistry, and Botany and Zoology includes three types of questions-
- Very short answer type questions – 2 marks each
- Short answer type questions – 4 marks each
- Long answer type questions – 8 marks each
AP Intermediate Marking Scheme 2025
A candidate must obtain minimum of 40 marks in order to pass the examination.
- For subjects which do not have any practical exams, the passing marks are 30% of the total marks.
- For subjects which have practical exams, the passing marks are 30% for the theory part and 40% for the practical part.
- In order to pass the board examinations, students need to qualify both the theory and the practical part separately.

AP Intermediate Grace Marks Criteria
AP Board follows the below criteria to award grace marks to the students:
- The grace marks will be 5%, 4% and 3% of the maximum marks for papers respectively for A, B and C grade.
- Preference will be for attaining a minimum mark for becoming 'Eligible' i.e, grade D+.
- Also, students who have 75% aggregate marks but need less than 10% to pass in one subject are awarded with the grace marks.
