AUCET 2024 exam was held between 3d May-6th May by Andhra University. The application fee for candidates of General Category is INR 600. Candidates must possess a valid 10+2 certificate to apply for the test.The exam will be conducted in paper pen mode.The minimum pass percentage for general category candidates is 50%. The question paper consisted of 100 objective type questions to be attempted in 90 minutes. The admit card will be released a week before the commencement of exam.

Who is Eligibile for the Exam?
The Eligibility Criteria as issued by the Directorate of Admission Andhra University are mentioned below:
Nationality and Domicile
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should belong to the Andhra Pradesh state and must hold a valid proof of the state’s residency as subsequently amended in the Andhra Pradesh State, Educational Institutions 1974.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board as equivalent to as Andhra University with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidates who have appeared/appearing for their final year examination in 2023 only are eligible.
Age Limit
- There is no age limit to appear for the exam
- The maximum eligible age to apply for a fee reimbursement for reserved classes (SC/ST) is 34 and for EBC/Minorities/Disabled candidates is 30 years.
How to fill the Application Form?
The application form can only be filled online. The steps to apply for AUCET are mentioned below:
Step 1: Registration
- Go to the official website www.audoa.in.
- Fill in all the personal details listed below to register:
- Name of the candidate
- Candidate’s DOB (DD/MM/YYYY)

- Click on Register. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email ID.
- Login with the credentials received.
Step 2: Filling up Application Form
- Click on the link “Application Form”.
- Fill in the personal and educational details asked.
- Select a security question and answer it.
- Click on Submit.
- Download and take a print out of the application form.
Step 3: Uploading Images and Documents

Check Admit Card Date
The admit card was released online on the official website of Andhra University in May 2024. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download their admit cards through following steps:
- Go to the official website of Andhra University.
- Login using Registration No. and Password.
- Click on Download Admit Card.
- Download and take a print of the admit card.
- Paste a passport size photograph on it.

Category-Wise Cut off Score
The minimum marks required for qualifying in AUCET 2023, as stipulated by the conducting authority is mentioned in the table below. There will be no rounding off marks to the nearest whole number. Candidates who score more than or equal to the stated cut off will be eligible for further rounds in the admission process.

Tie Breaker Criteria
In case of a tie between marks scored by two or more candidates following criteria will be followed to select the preferred candidate:
- Candidates who secured more marks in their 10+2 examination will be preferred.
- If the tie still exists, candidate older in age shall be given preference.
Counselling
The Counseling will begin shortly within July . The registration for counselling can be done online at audoa.in. After registrations candidates will have to upload documents for verification, Subsequently, web options are to be filled. After the conclusion of choice filling process, seat allotment results will be released.
- Candidates who score more than or equal to the stated cut off will be called for AUCET Counselling.
- Candidates have to register on the official website for counselling.
- Candidates will be allotted a date and time slot for counselling category wise.
- Candidates will be allotted colleges on merit cum preference basis.
- To confirm admission in a college and course of their choice, candidates must pay the admission fee within the stipulated time limit.

The application fee for AUCET has to be paid online using a debit card, credit card or net banking. After you have completing filling up the form and uploaded the necessary documents, you will be redirected to the payment page. There you have to select your preferred mode of payment and the complete the payment.
Andhra University does not offer M.Sc in Food Technology but offers an M.Sc Food Nutrition and Dietetics program. To apply for this program, you must have completed a bachelor's degree in Home Science / Food and Nutrition / Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics / Applied Nutrition / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology, etc. with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
Andhra University has not yet released the application notification for AUCET 2023 yet. But the notification for AUCET 2023 is expected to be released very soon by the university. The application notification will be released on the Directorate of Admissions page on the university’s website.

B.Sc graduates are not eligible to apply for admission in the M.Tech programs of Andhra University. Students seeking admisison in the M.Tech programs of AU must have a B.Tech degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
Andhra University offers M.Sc Fishery Science in place of M.Sc Aquaculture and M.Sc Industrial Fisheries programs. Besides this program, the university also offers M.Sc in Coastal Aquaculture & Marine Biotechnology.
Admission to all the regular M.Tech courses of Andhra University is based on the merit of AUCET followed by counseling while the university accepts GATE / AP PGECET-2022 for admission to its sponsored M.Tech programs.
