College Life is the Best

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good.I would say that Pursuing OR is the best choice for me I choose this course because I have studied operational research in my under graduation and I know about this course.Also I'm very much interested in the field of data science so that's why I've opted for this course. The student ratio in my class was 40:60. The teaching faculty members are highly qualified and they teach really well. So, there are 4 term exams in overall 2 years of masters and the exams were very easy.

Campus Life:

The campus life was very good. The south campus is so beautiful. There are no annual fest and tech fest. The library is very nice. Almost all books and journals are available in the library. The classrooms are also good. So there is a badminton court on the campus and a cricket ground also. Volleyball ground is also available on the campus. Students used to play there and organise matches.

Online to Offline College, A roller coaster of emotions!(Will write about offline experience soon)

It's an interdisciplinary course and it's based on practical aspects more than theoretical aspects, which makes students more industry-ready for roles such as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, OR Scientist, etc. Around 150 students get admission, and they are divided into 3 sections. so the faculty: student ratio is around 1:50. The faculty here are good, and they also have good knowledge about the skills we will be needed for our career. They are well qualified. Exams are not that difficult, you can easily pass.

Placement Experience:

Companies come for placement during the 3rd semester. Our placement cell does so much hard work to attract companies. Some of the past recruiters were Cognizant, E&Y, Gartner, Max Life Insurance, etc., and around 101 students are placed with an average package of 8 Lakh/annum. The highest Package was 18-20 Lakh/Annum and the lowest was 4-5 Lakh/Annum. My plan is to go for placement here.

My experience in this college is so fantastic

College held many annual fests like annual function, farewell party, welcome party, Bharatpur sthapna diwas, Many cultural activities like dance, singing also. Many technological fests also held in my college. Many times outer engineers and doctors visited the college campus and give brief knowledge about their field. The college has a central library which contains all type of books. All writers books are available in this library. All books are settled in this library properly. Librarian behaviour is also so good. I receive all my course books from this library. All classes are well mannered. All classes have a proper table and chairs for students. Ventilation also so perfect of classrooms. Sports quota is so impressive in this college. All sports games are available in this college like cricket, hockey, football, gymnastics, Kho-Kho, badminton. Our college reaches a national level also. Our college team always defeat other colleges every year.

All MSC teachers in this college are so good in their specific fields. I want to become a professor and all teachers take their classes regularly.so I choose this course. 12 student per each faculty: student ratio. All faculties are PhD holder in a specific field. All professors are associate professors. The teaching method of all professors is so awesome. They teach us like a good friend.they all motivate us for a bright future. They take their classes regularly. They gave us additional knowledge for our future interviews. They take classes by the presentation and animation. They all very nice persons also. Our college has weekly tests and sleeps annual and half-yearly exams. It is no difficulty for me to pass it.it is so amazing forgiven an exam because our teachers prepared us for the exam very gracefully.

Course curriculum is very interesting and well planned. There are 5 pepars in this course 3 pepar is same as msc maths liner programming and C++ is additional. There is semester type exam structure divided in 4 semesters. This course is unique course in india because there is a few university who are running this course. It gives a huge opportunity to get job in well settled companies because every company is hiring operation research completed students because they wants maximum profit in lowest cost. And this course learn how we can earn maximum profit from lowest investment.

Admission:

In whole there is only an university which is running msc in operation research. There are various opportunity in government and private sector jobs in this course. Admission process is very simple. In mid of July to August when admission opens I went to university campus and take offline admission form after filling the details and attached all documents of previous class of graduation and 12th I submitted form. After 15 days merit list was announced by university and I got admission in this course.

I think its a very opportunistic course for young lads who waana gonin data analysis and optimisation field. Getting in this course is not that tough you have to give a entrance exam. Which is compromised of computer science and mathematics and statistics.
