Faculty:

Faculty to student ratio is 1: 5 , facilities are good but not interactive, but they help whenever students ask doubts or student face any problem they try to resolve. I like Dr. M.k.Rai sir who teach us biotechnology, he is working so hard to teach their students, and also Dr. S.kausik sir is also helpful and guiding us for better future. There's is no faculty who I don't like. All are respected professors. There is 2 internal in every semester and 1 end semester examination. And practical exam as well.

Campus Life:

All Indian religious festivals are celebrated in our university like holi , deewali, ornam, Durga puja, Ganesh puja etc. are celebrated. Library is sufficient for study materials. Each department have one smart classroom. There's sports complex which have football ground, badminton court, table tennis ,chess, gym and swimming pool Students run some political clubs but they're not for student welfare.

We had 5 Faculties on 40 students. All are good and supportive to their students. Liking & disliking among the Professor & students is though common in all the University, so you could feel sometimes here too. But that won't affect your marks. There's 4 semester, in 2nd semester there js industrial Internship training you have to do for one month, 4th semester is Dissertation period for 6 months. All semester has Grading System with major & minor subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's is need of this course in current scenario of the world as the talk kf Sustainability & Ecology growing up. Course has everything to deal with the scenario. But there's is need of improvement in field of Environment Economics concern as it is just touched topic, it should be proper subject as interview around the company of ESGs ask questions about the same. Overall it has broader future aspects regarding professional life.

The faculty to student ratio is normal and they are very kind & supportive of the students. They listen and support the ideas of many and don't hesitate to correct students when wrong. I liked our faculty Dr. Prachi and Dr. Sangeeta the best! The curriculum includes semester wise exams in which two internals included. The difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I'd rate it an 8. We're studying how to save our future and that's the part I like the best. It really gives you an insight on what is actually the problem is and how we should tackle it down to save our present and future. Love the teaching methods.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course was divided into four semesters for each semester we had to pay 1500 rupess which included the tution, registration, lan, and library fees. The fees was same for all the categories but my female batchmates had some kind of SC girls scholarship because of which their fees was less than the regular fee amount, the scholarship was merit based as far as I remember.

Campus Life:

The infrastructure of the campus and my hostel both were great as both the places were build newly at the time of my admission. I enjoyed my campus life as there were no heavy restrictions but our campuses are very safe, rarely I heard anything regarding the safety of girl students as nightly patrols on the road were conducted regularly.

We have 6 facilities for 30 students. The relationship between students and teachers is very good. They treat us like there own child. Dr. Vikram Singh is the I like the most as he always motivate us. Dr. Anita Singh is the teacher I don't like because she is too lazy to be a teacher. There are 4 exam. 3 internal and 1 external. The difficulty level is moderate. Only 3-4 students fails in the class of 30 student

The faculty is excellent and are renowned throughout the world. The course is designed appropriately and we'll structured for higher studies and research. They give excellent practical and field experience. Regular and timely mid-sem exams and semester examination are conducted. The deficulty is not too much and also not too easy. It is perfectly balanced for development and fair assesment of students. The marking depends on performance of students and completely unbiased.

I choose geology as my future because I always like to study about the world that we are living ,how they are formed, how they are changing. The curriculum provide much information about the current world and as well as the past world and the changes between them and what is the reason behind that. The ultimate aim of all the students will be on the job but in that case in geology the scope I much less as compared to other areas. Geology is very easy subject a below average students can easily achieve whatever they want in this subject

Campus Life:

In our campus almost all the festival which are in the northern India are held by the university but most of them are cultural festivals therefore all the programs will be in a orthodox vibe The library is not that good when compared to other universities While in classroom projectors and other developed technologies are used for teaching

Campus Life:

Annually there is a college fest that will usually be held during January. One can easily access books, journals, and dissertations that are available both in the college library as well as the department library. Unfortunately, there are no smart classrooms as the institute itself was constructed during the British Times and is now under UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Sports and extracurricular activities on the campus are held at certain times or during the annual college fest. By far, there are no social groups, clubs, or websites for students that are run by the students. And the college itself lacks diversity of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason that made me choose this course is that I want to leave behind a legacy. And to show the world that this is the only chance we have at saving the planet. The faculty: student ratio is of a good balance as there are multiple visiting faculties as well. And the faculty members either have a Ph.D. or are pursuing one at present. In terms of exam conductance, they are conducted at a good interval and are not difficult to pass considering one needs to study well.

Ans. In every industry, the Environmental department is an overhead, the requirement rate is very low. Ques. Can i do master's in landscaping after bsc agri..?

● Top Answer By Akriti Banerjee on 24 May 23

Ans. As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are not eligible to pursue a Master's in Landscape Architecture after completion of a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture.  The minimum basic educational qualification required for M.Arch from RIT Bangalore is given below, Admission to the Master of Architecture Program is open to all the candidates who have passed B.Arch. (as per the eligibility criteria specified from time to time) of COA, VTU, or any other recognized University / Institution.  For foreign degrees, an Equivalence certificate from the Association Of Indian Universities is required. The candidates who have completed their degree through the distance mode education from any University are not eligible for admission to M.Arch. Programs under any quota. Candidates holding the degree awarded by Associate of the Indian Institute of Architects (AIIA) are also eligible for M.Arch., programs. Candidates who have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all the years are also eligible for M.Arch. (5% relaxation for reserved categories. You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture which is not a relevant subject to Architecture that's why you are not eligible to pursue this course. Read more

Ques. How is an MSc in environmental biotechnology at CUSAT?

● Top Answer By Pablo Patranobish on 20 Jul 21

Ans. MSc in Environmental Biotechnology is a very niche course that is offered by very few universities in India, Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT) being one of them. Personally, I have come across very few schools of Environmental Studies in Indian universities that offer this program. But then if you are interested then nothing should come between you and your choice. You may look at some of the IITs, IISERs, and other top universities if they provide this course or not and whether or not you are eligible for it. If you are not getting them, then CUSAT is fine as well.Read more
