In this particular university course fees is very high for every course. We have to give 1,00,000 to 2,00,000 for general courses. When I pursue my Masters and my graduation from this university, I have to give near about 2 lakhs for the whole course. I think, according to the opportunity and according to the university, the course fees is very high. They should maintain these courses. According to the internships they are charging to high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Course is MACJ, which is a Master's Degree in Communication and Journalism. The Faculty is extremely Knowledgeable, not just Delivering Bookish information, but also delivering practical information. But because of the pandemic things are a little hard to work on. we have completed one semester so far. KC College has a new format for internals and externals exams. The internals will be MCQs and the Semesters will be MCQs and descriptive Questions. This is not difficult to pass, maybe because it is an online test.

1. I was a literature student and I wanted to further explore the corporate world. Journalism and Mass Communication seemed to be a perfect choice. 2. We had 11 subjects for each of the semesters, We were a class of 42 for the master's class. 3. A few of the faculties have a doctorate degree. Most of them had master's degrees and had good industry experience. 4. In six months we had each semester. The exams were doable if you studied well. Otherwise, the questions might be difficult.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

1. Because we were hit with the pandemic the campus job process was hindered. 2. I couldn't sit for placements because I was waiting for the finals to get over. 3. Financial assistance had been given to students who had recently lost their working parents due to the pandemic. 4. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had keen interest in working for Radio Station. Faculty Ration is approx 20:1 here but yes students can receive good learning as faculties aim at delivering personal assistance to every student as individual level. Most of the faculties here are PhD holders and are very well versed with teaching skills. Exams were not so tough for the ones who believe in learning and were the toughest for ones who don't pay importance to learning.

Ques. How is the MA in Journalism and Mass Communication distance learning course in Swami Vivekananda Subharti University Meerut? Does the degree hold any value?

● Top Answer By Rohit Kapoor, on 08 Nov 21

Ans. It is important to know that doing Journalism and Mass Communication as a Distance learning course is mostly theoretical. This course requires hands-on learning and is majorly dependent on practicals. Theories here have a 20-30% importance overall. You should opt for a university that offers a regular course. By studying there you will be able to interact with others which will eventually help to make connections and gather experience. After this you could opt for internships in several places and mediums like print or publishing or Audio-Visual.Read more
