Campus Life

The Institute provides ample opportunities to meet various top corporate leaders, conduct sessions with them. Various cultural events and tech fest are being held in different months looking at the academic schedule. An annual fest like Prayaag20 was held last year. There are various other committees being formed to handle the responsibility of creating such an engaging and memorable experience. The Library here has more than 40,000 books and more than 1000 journals, also due to the pandemic new portal has been launched to help students read online and get any books they want via a proprietor software of JBIMS. The classrooms here are big enough to accumulate 100 students at a time. There are various groups being formed handled by the students, such as cultural committee, CSR, Ecell, IT , Alumni and various other committees

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the two-year course is six lakh, which was around two lakh previously. Since JBIMS has now been converted into an autonomous college and its fees structure were very low around 204580/-, it hiked the fees in 2017 by 4,00,000 Rs. It also depends on the category of a student which he falls into to pay the desired amount. But by increasing the fees JBIMS has been focused on providing new courses to add to the curriculum and different methods of evaluation, developing better infrastructure. Students can avail for the Maharashtra government scholarship program via mahadbt mahait .gov.in. Students can also get loans from various banks. The placement process is controlled by the placement committee which brings various renowned companies to the campus and has consistently been able to provide 100% placement each year.

I got admission in this college by Cet exam. For admission, student must have scored minimum marks as required by university or DTE at any entrance examination like CET, CAT, ATMA. Once you select the college as per your preference then you got one allotment list for colleges. If you are allotted then you have to go to centres to freeze and unfreeze option.

Faculty

Faculty members are good. They all are always available to help the student and focus on developing every student to their full capability. They taught every concept based on real case studies. They also invite industry experts so that we can relate theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year fees are divided into tuition fees and other expenses. The tuition fees for First Year is Rs 1,20,000. There were other components such as extracurricular activities fees, project evaluation, student insurance charges, sports, etc that amounted approximately up to Rs 27,000. This brings it to a total of approximately Rs 1,47,000 for the first year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is well defined and explained to us at the start of the semester. Exam structure is in relevance to the course pattern and syllabus and is fair. The exam is structured into Midterm exams and semester-end exams. Midterm exams contribute to the internal marks and help the student to prepare better for the final exams well in advance.

The staff was helpful and made it very easy for me on every step. There was no running around or no chaos that i faced, everything was smooth and well coordinated.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internship but we also have the option of picking it laterally. The highest package was 15k a month and the lowest was 2k. There are people who picked lateral internship and were not paid. But college saw to it that everyone placed through campus was paid a certain amount.
