Remarks

The faculty is very welcoming to new ideas in terms of cultural activities or new processes to be incorporated in the structure of lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is well defined and explained to us at the start of the semester. Exam structure is in relevance to the course pattern and syllabus and is fair. The exam is structured into Midterm exams and semester-end exams. Midterm exams contribute to the internal marks and help the student to prepare better for the final exams well in advance.

Placement Experience

4

The placement activities are very organized and structured. The student is prepared throughout the semesters for the internships and placements and is informed about the various opportunities available well in advance. This helps to target and plan the industries/companies you want to be associated with.

College Events

3.5

There are various committees such as economics committee, finance committee, marketing committee, corporate interface committee, women development cell, HR forum, a cultural committee which contribute to a productive culture within the institute. There are multiple cultural events and festivals celebrated in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year fees are divided into tuition fees and other expenses. The tuition fees for First Year is Rs 1,20,000. There were other components such as extracurricular activities fees, project evaluation, student insurance charges, sports, etc that amounted approximately up to Rs 27,000. This brings it to a total of approximately Rs 1,47,000 for the first year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I hadn't applied for any loans or scholarships for the Masters in Management Studies Course (MMS).

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life includes many indoor sports such as carrom, snooker and table tennis. The college has a massive sports ground and students from various courses play hockey and football quite often. The student crowd is pretty diverse and the ratio of male to female would approximately be 60:40.

Alumni/Alumna

The college holds regular alumni meets and has a strong alumni network. Alumni also visit the institute to take guest lectures and share their knowledge about the industry with the students.

Admission

I had heard about GNVS through word of mouth. After CET results I visited the college to get more information on the faculty, placements, course structure, extracurricular activities, and infrastructure. After a good discussion on these points, I found out about the fee structure and applied to the college.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of our college is a team of seasoned professionals with hands-on industry experience in their field of expertise and most of them are Ph.D. holders. They are well equipped with knowledge from practical experiences in the industry and a strong theoretical base.

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.

Placements are good, during our batch it was pretty low because of the recession and other economic parameters. In MBA mostly the companies come for marketing jobs so mostly the jobs offered was sales, but as the college has became university i think every process has been changed and could result in good placement.

Remarks:

College is almost good .this for those who want only masters but no placement .if you also want to get placed in any company need only degree ur welcome. The management is worst the nonteaching staff doesn't know how to talk with students especially the admission office. I here declare whatever I have seen and suffered I presented my view about this college to you, not it's your choice to go to heaven like symbiosis or choose hell. I was misguided and helpless so I came here means I got fewer marks in a snap so please students appear for snap sincerely.
