Campus is buzzed with events and fests happening every other day with annual fest names reverie conducted in feb-mar. I have not been to library a lot but I guess our library is good enough to find books of all types. The classroom is not up to the mark, they are small and conjusted with outdated lights and fans. Socities at Gargi are very active I'm part of the dance society of my college we are among top 3 socities in DU.

Placement Experience:

3rd sem students are eligible for placements. The top 4 companies followed by Accenture, tresvista, WTW, DE Shaw, and a lot of startups visit our college and the offers made are decent. With highest package of 23lpa and average of 4 lpa. Although I'm not aware of the percentage but anybody who sits for placement with decent preparation fo get placed for sure. My plans are to worl for 3 -4 years

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BBE ( Bachelor in Business Economics). I have an interest in economics. The ratio of faculty-student ratio is 1:5. The teachers are highly qualified some have PHD. Every Semester management shares student feedback forms to rate the teacher on the basis of teaching method, knowledge and many more. There is 3 CIA ( Continuous Internal assessment) i.e. Group Activity (5 marks), mid-term exam (20 marks) and Presentation (15). The CIA is of 40 marks and the external is of 60 marks. Exams are not so difficult.

Campus Life:

The campus is big and environment-friendly. College life built confidence in students. XEST is the Fest of the college it happens once in two years and there are seminars. The library is big and has many books and journals. Some journals were written by students and college professors. There are sports activities like cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, chess, carrom, and badminton. There are many clubs NSS, YFI, Debate Club and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course BBE to learn about economics and its application to the business world. The faculties in our college are quite good & most of them are Phd degree holders. They teach us well but lack the modern conceptual approach. Exams are conducted 2 times a year i.e. semesters.

Campus Life:

Campus life is very exciting at Delhi University. People inside the campus love to interact with each other and help each other, so it's a friendly campus. An annual fest named "Reverie" is conducted every year by the college and many students take part in the cultural program.

The annual fest 'TATVA' happens in February. Content is easily available in the library. Classrooms are average with no air conditioning and broken chairs. The sports culture is fairly dormant in the college with events not consistently happening nor are we competing. Societies are very active and strive to be the best in their field. Both cultural and academic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BBE as an alternative to not getting BMS. There are 90 students in the class and the faculty of the college handles the curriculum well. The Delhi university exams were easy and if one is prepared, one can score well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very nice and because of nep, it is well-matched with real-world practices. Mainly our core subjects are related to economics only but this economics is more practical oriented. Also, we have subjects like financial institutions and financial literacy. The faculty is also highly qualified all the teachers are phd holders with over 10+ years of experience. Exams were a little difficult to pass since we had only 3 months instead of 6 as our admissions were late.

Campus Life:

Campus life is the best thing about cvs. Since it is located in a posh locality (sheikh sarai) the crowd is also very nice. The college ground is very big and we have dedicated areas for football cricket volleyball and basketball. The new building has big rooms to accommodate the full class. It is also equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Cvs has one of the biggest fests in the whole du circuit. Cultural societies of CVS are also well known in the whole du circuit

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chooses this course because it has maths economics and statistics all in one with a bit of account I see a proper way to go through in a particular field. I don't like a few faculty but else there are others who are so good at teaching and understanding us, but there is still some teacher who is like a headache we feel like handling their period cramps. Not sure about qualifications but they are good at their subject if they can teach properly it would be great and few have really good teaching methods and ask us for review too totally different from others. Term exams are every 6 months and it is hard cause you don't study.

Campus Life:

The annual fest happens in April every year it's fun because of too many competitions and cultural societies. Books are fairly available in the library but not sufficient. Not good classrooms as there might be soo hot during summers in classrooms. Not working in smart labs and smart classes in classrooms is not good. Social groups are soo many like aaghaz, quest, Manthan, zest, dramanomics, Eric, Comsock, enactus, carvan, creador,

Life is awesome on campus. Several societies, including the academic as well as cultural, are active in the college. The annual fest Tatva is generally conducted during February, March, or April. Books are available in abundance in the library for almost all the courses. ComSoc, The Commerce Society of CVS is an extremely active academic society giving a lot of exposure to students professionally and personally. One can observe personal growth, knowledge as well as socializing to a great extent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Decent faculty members are available. Students in the bachelor of business economics are around 80. Economics along with finance is studied in this course making it similar to economic honors but with extra subjects. If you have an interest in economic statistics and finance then this course is for you.

I have an interest in economics and finance and the course business Economics had both in it. We have 3 teachers in the department and a total of 180 students in all three years. Tatva is our annual fest, it conducts around April. The library is big enough to find almost every book you want to read. If you're unable to find it. You can request it from the librarian. We also have annual sports events like runbhoomi. And Aryabhata college also conducts an event "Roister" every year for BBE students across all DU colleges. Rotaract club of CVS, enacts, zypher, etc. are some of the social clubs run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue MBA, so BBA was the best option to opt for graduation and I wanted to study at DU. But DU doesn't have BBA. They have BMS and BBE. And I got BBE according to my rank. The faculty was good, and the ratio was good too. Term exams were neither too tough nor too easy. You can easily pass them even after studying for a month before exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have an interest in economics and I want to pursue my career in this field I am from a commerce background so it is best for me and provides great opportunities after college. Exams were a bit difficult but if you prepare well, nothing is difficult.

Placement Experience:

The college provides lots of placements, many big companies come forward to provide placements with a very good package as a fresher, the average is around 4-5LPA. Which is very good as a fresher and around 50-60% of students get placements from college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bbe is a full-time 3 years degree course in the field of economics and finances. I chose this course because I can start my carrier as a business economist, trainee financial analyst, and many more. The course is a bit tough but fruitful. Teachers are very good ppt presentations are also used to clear each and every topic.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

This college is pocket friendly. The average fee of a course is 10000 pa, except for bbe, cs which is around 27990 and still a reasonable price. The college comes up with a fest, lots of events, and societies that make it a fun and enjoyable college life.

Internships Opportunities:

Companies like Oppo India, paytm, spotify do offer internship opportunities with/without stipend. On the whole the placement cell provides great opportunities to work with. All opportunities get posted on whatsapp, instagram and also on the website of the placement cell.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees structure is an affordable one and is very simple. Every year an amount of 27000 rupees is charged from the students making it 81000 in total for 3 years. The reason for slightly high amount of fees is because this course is a self financed course.

My course is B.A.(Hons.) Business Economics, i got into this course through entrance i.e.DU Jat. Faculty is best and they provide us best out of their knowledge. And the teachers are also highly qualified. They not only focus on booking knowledge but also on practical knowledge. The method of teaching is amazing and my exams held semester wise and the level of those exams are moderate to difficult

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

Going by the course curriculum, I found BBE quite interesting. It is different from both B.com and BA Hons Economics. It truly captures the essence of what a leader should be aware of. It is practically and theoretically stimulating. Microeconomics, Macro economics, International economics, Environmental Economics, Statistics, SPSS , Marketing Management, Organisational Behaviour with a touch of Mathematics, Quantitative techniques of management, and Cost Accounting, this gives potentially a holistic grasp of efficient skills and knowledge required to lead an entity. Exams and assignments went fluently with the pace of studies and it was never too burdensome and only complemented to what one was already studying. Teachers were highly qualified with experience appropriate for teaching such a vast curriculum. Their approach towards students was quite flexible and they adjusted and changed their ways of delivering lectures as and when required. The curriculum and faculty -truly great!

Campus Life:

Reverie is the annual fest of the college. Else than that, you can attend the departmental fests organized by different departments as well. BBE's community organizes Advitva. Also, the BBE students of Gargi College participate in Roisters and Runbhoomi every year that is an inter-college series of competitions exclusively for BBE enrolled students. Library offers books, journals for whatever courses required, and access to E-library as well. You have ample of societies and clubs ( Debating, Traditional and western dances, Vocal and Instrumental, Theatre, Street Play, and much more) run by students who take part in a humongous number of competitions everywhere. You will never find a dearth of opportunities in Gargi college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As BBE is a professional course, the curriculum is very intensive. It is an amalgamation of both commerce and arts. With economics being the main subject, we also learn about accounts, mathematics, statistics, research methods and finance to name a few. Although there's no thorough exploration of all the subjects involved except that of economics, it's a pretty great course to take up. The academics is satisfactory yet a little disappointing. Its mainly related to the faculty as the college has a very small department of BBE and there are mainly 2 teachers. Teachers are good but BBE being a fairly new course has not yet gotten the real exposure yet. Whereas the college is famous for it's science subjects, it's a bit scary to keep up with that level of competition. Although the placement of BBE students in the highest on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job offers are satisfactory for a fresher out of company. We have the Big four companies, Delliote, Dell, EY, KPMG. We get offers for the post of analyst, managers, etc. The placement process is quite efficient with pre placement talks and interviews taking place. Alumni network of my course is not that great but I hear the commerce sector has a great alumni network. Placement department works it's day off to get us great opportunities and keeps conducting seminars for us. We don't have an Entrepreneur cell in our college.

Campus Life:

Infrastructure was really fucked up. Canteen was really small with bad food. Even hospitals are bigger when it comes to the size of my campus. There was no playground. Just a little road which was called playground because there was no playground. Wifi was just for name. When it comes to library, it was hard to stand if students had exams. Only 5 students could stand at a time. labs.lol you guys are getting labs. There was no lab but a room with 5-6 computers which was considered a lab.

Remarks:

I went there for animation and cleared the entrance but then I shifted to BBE course because my seniors suggested me that animation has no scope and you have to travel a lot in that field. Also, my family was not convinced with the concept of animation as some teachers from admission department told them that your kid would be exposed to camera and ramp walk.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I study bbe (business economics) and political science under the general elective subject Bbe is one of the amazing courses offered by du it is a mix of BCom(h) and eco(h) it is also known as mini MBA degree it is a very good course where subjects such as research methodology and database statistical procedure are there for inculcating practical knowledge. The faculty like all du colleges is well qualified but like almost every department whether school or college there are some teachers who are just really good and are really passionate about what they do and some are not like that. The ratio of faculty per student is around 40:1 which is pretty good but pls be aware there are some subjects with full maths in this course. Bbe is only offered in some 13 select du colleges. Since it was a hons course I was offered an elective subject and I took political science since this subject was created so that students opt for something different so that we can explore new subjects

Campus Life:

My main college, if I have to summarise, will be being part of Hindi theatre society and this college has some wonderful famous eca societies which excel in their respective fields and all have a tightly knit bond. The fest is not great here the biggest celeb we had was Jass Manak but that was before lehnga song this will case in almost every off-campus college since not a lot of sponsors come here Obviously crowd of college will not be entirely desirable but the majority of students are very decent and create a good atmosphere although these limitations are faced by all off campus colleges. The library is great to have a space for reading also and easy to borrow system for students they also e-resources were students also have access to few computers Overall it is a great campus with tt table, field, high-class auditorium, conference room with table mics attached. The campus is better than most south campus colleges.
