Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune Placement 2023: Median Package, Students Placed, Top Recruiters
Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune Placement 2022 report is yet to be released. However, as per the Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune NIRF report 2021, a total of 36 B.Pharm and 56 M.Pharm students were placed during the placement drive of 2020-21. The median package offered to B.Pharm Students was INR 2.90 LPA, while the median package for M.Pharm students stood at INR 3.20 LPA.

As per NIRF 2022 data, the median package for B.Pharm students for the year 2021 was INR 2.90 LPA. As for the M.Pharm students, the median package stood at INR 3.20 LPA. The following table depicts the year’s median packages offered during the last year three years:

Placement Experience:
There are placements in college but most of bachelor students go for higher studies. Average package for b pharm is 3,00,000 For M. pharm students it is quite higher as compared to b pharm. Stipend also available.

From 3rd year the campus is there. There are a lot many companies. Such as shipla, Dr. Reddy's,... etc The package is from 3k to 10k There is a test based on the company. My plan is to place a campus interview only.

The placement process is easy there are companyÕs coming to the college for jobs. The placement of the students is 100%. There is a placement cell who specially looks after it. The alumini is very supportive they help everyone in whatever ways they can.

Placements happened in final year of graduation but most of the companies came for medical representatives. B.Pharm eventually is only valued when PG has to be done after that which opens door for other profiles like research and development,production,finance,marketing etc. Companies like German Remedies,Cipla,Ranbaxy etc came for campus placement however a very few took the job offers as most of the students went for higher studies. Offer made of MR was in the range of 10K - 15K.
Internships Opportunities:
I don't have much idea about internships because I'm a first-year student. We are not made much aware of internship and job opportunities. I don't know what to say or write about placement. I don't have much idea. Please google it.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements take place the last semester. Most of the students opt for higher education, which can be MPharm, MBA, MS, either national or international. Companies that visited - Sun Pharma, Abbott, Glenmark, few Startups.

Students get eligible after 7 th semester. Company placement begins from January. Last year companies like sanofi, pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, lupin, cadila, abott visited to the college provided the average package of 5.5lakhs which is very good after bachelors. As my batchmates planned to do master's m pharm because they want to go for research. But i would like to do job as I'm interested in MBA

Many of the top pharma companies visit the college for placements including Cipla, Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, Docplexus, Xogene, etc.

During the final year of B.pharm companies come to College for placements. Most of the students are went for higher education than a job. Highest package 4.5 lakh per annum. The average package of 2.2 lakh per annum.

We are so lucky that our college provides the placements. Many reputed pharma companies come to our college as our college is one of the reputed college in Maharashtra as well as India. Lupin, cipla, enzyme, Johnson and Johnson are few of the company in which the student of Poona college of pharmacy is placed and with a very nice package.
