DAV College Chandigarh MA English: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission to the college can be obtained via the PUCET exam for non-UT students, or based on +2 marks for undergraduates. For post-graduate courses, the PUCET exam is a key admission route. The faculty includes 45-90 lecturers, mostly aged between 35-40, with varying teaching effectiveness due to limited industry experience. The annual course fee is 26,000 rupees, with separate examination fees of 2,500-3,000 rupees, paid at the end of the year.

Notably, financial aid may be available for low-income students, sometimes waiving fees. Companies such as Amazon and Mahindra participate in the placement process, but few students secure placements, as the institution lacks comprehensive preparation and timely information on placement activities. The yearly tuition fee is about 24,000 rupees, while living costs for day scholars, like renting a room in sector 15, are approximately 5,000 rupees monthly. Overall, the educational costs are deemed reasonable.
