Hooghly Mohsin College offers 3-year B.Sc courses in Honors and General mode at the UG level. Candidates applying should have passed 10+2 with prescribed marks in the concerned subject. Hooghly Mohsin College LLB and LLM Admission 2024

Hooghly Mohsin College offers 3-year LLB and one-year LLM Law courses at the Master’s level. Students who have obtained minimum 45% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree course are eligible to apply. Selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying exam.

Application forms for both the UG and PG courses are filled online. To fill the application form candidates need to follow below steps:

Fill the online application form.
Make payment of INR 50 as application fee through either of online or offline mode. Offline payment can be made to any branch of State Bank of India.
Submit the application form.

Following original documents and their self-attested photocopies have to be brought by the candidates at the time of admission.

Mark sheet and Passing Certificate of 10+2 and SSC.
Graduation Degree and Mark sheets of graduation course (for PG courses).
Category Certificate (if applicable).
Passport size photographs (06)
Filled in application form signed by the candidate.
Bank Receipt or Challan copy of the application fee.

Admission:

The admission process is quite simple. There is no exam conducted instead the students are selected based on their performance in Higher Secondary examination. Students willing to get admission here have to fill the application form and a merit list will be published, based on that the admission process goes on.

There is no big scope to get a internship

Admission:

You've to pass the 12th Examination with a science background and the marks you've got in the 10th Examination in Geography are also needed for preparing the merit list. Every year after the announcement of the State Board result college issues a notice for new admission and you can find it on the college website. It's a govt college so the fees structure for each and every course is very low. The admission process is also very smooth and anyone can avail of the reservation benefits if he/she is eligible.

Likes

The faculty especially the ac labs,the behavior of lab assistant, the instruments everything is good. I will give overall 8 out of 10.
The cost of tution fees which will help mainly financially backword students.

Dislikes

There is no hostel for female students, which is more problematic for the female students who lives far.
For my department some instruments are not working properly and computers are also small in number.

Admission:

The eligibility of this course is that you have passed +1 and +2 from any of the recognized boards. The application form is available on the website on selective dates, the application fees are minimal as it is a government college and dates are also visible on the website. Yes, the college has reservation benefits as if someone belongs to the categories then he /she will get benefits. The website should be maintained properly.

The teacher student communication is very good.
There is no ragging in our college our college also has anti ragging cell.

Dislikes

The College is very old, not renovated for so long.
There is very lack of bathrooms in our college.

Admission:

You should have passion for the subject. The admission process was quite simple it was totally online process. Application fees were 50 rupees only as it is a state government-run college. You should have physics and mathematics in your class 12 level and you have to pass both of them. The application forms can be found on the college's own website. Application form released after West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education declares class 12 results. Reservation can be availed and it gives a lot of benefits. Very few people seek reservation in this college because it is not that much competition here. So seeking reservations will help a lot to get admission.

There is no Entrance exam. The admission is based on the merit of 12 th and 10th Marks. The admission process is online. After filling up the online form the selection process gets in. There are some reserved seats for OBC, ST, and SC students.
