the reason why I chose this course is because i am interested in commerce. And of course christ college prepares me so well for my tomorrows, as the curriculam contains effective lessons for my future. I would suggest an improvement in the teaching methods. instead of teaching in traditional ways, teachers can use more technological aspect for teaching. The timing of exams and frequency is fine

It is a rare course and the college has a well equipped department to handle it. As of now it is a 3year course but will change to a 4year one. Semester wise exam will be conducted regularly. Syllabuses are often rushed at the end

My course is bsc food technology. They have main paper as food technology. The rest of the subjects to be covered throughout are: Physics Chemistry Maths IT English (A01, A02, A03, A04) Hindi/Sanskrit/ Malayalam (mother tongue) Physics and chemistry will be there for 2/3 years (1st and 2nd year) and maths and IT for 1/3 (second year). Language and literature will be only there in the 1st year. Comparatively the course is easier than other bachelor degree courses and has high scope. The exam come in the order 1st internal and then 1st sem exam. The 1st sem exam comes around October/November. 2nd semester comes around February/March. And the summer vacation of 2 months will start. The faculty will provide everything that you need to score good marks in the sem exams. PDFs, power point presentation, question banks and etc.

After my plus two I was researching about what course should I take and BCA came to my eyes. I made the best decision because in placements all company wants a student from BCA that is the value we get there. And in the case of higher studies there is a wide opening to that also. In our 6th sem there is a subject called system software it is really difficult to study it is an optional subject.

As being a fully autonomous college, the semester exams and sem break are provided at the right time. The curriculum is very friendly to the students as mainly well taught classes are provided by the college.

The course is easy and one can easily score marks If you study up to date. The curriculum that we followed was the 3year but from next year onwards it's going to be 4year course. Exams are conducted semester wise and the schedule is thoroughly followed

I took computer science as my stream in plus two. Computer and it's relative areas was my favourite. So I took BCA for my degree as it has a lot career opportunities in the current job scenario. Day by day, technology is growing. So by choosing BCA, I have guaranteed myself a opportunity in this competitive work scenario. Programming languages like python, C, Java etc are taught well in this 6 semester course. If you want to join the banking sector, accounting will help you with that. A lot of free add-on courses are also provided with the course so that you can upgrade your existing skill set. A sem is around 6 months. There is a internal exam and a main semester exam in a single semester. The frequency and time between each exam is perfect for students to learn.

It's pretty good. Although they should really try to improve the syllabus standards. It's been high time it's been the same. The even semesters are always hectic with too less time and too much work. Might want to bring some change to that.
