This institute is also a government affiliated college established for the development of ministry of tourism and service sector in Punjab. There are more than 60 colleges in and around Bathinda. There are also 3-4 star hotels and many upcoming hotels for the development of the tourism. They have a training restaurant with 40 covers where a student gets to learn about the wines in the world and the dishes of French people with their 11 main courses. In this institute students are taught to cook exotic and mouth watering dishes in the training kitchen which has all the modern facilities for cooking. Students are also taught to bake and make confectioneries. Through this training kitchen set up a student can imagine about the kitchen in leading hotels.

Admission:
No doubt IHM Bathinda is one the best college in terms of hotel management and also of the province of Punjab. One should be fortunate enough if he/she gets in here and get the preferred choice, rest all of us are polished by the college itself. Our college management is too strict about following the rules but ultimately it is good for the students. Faculty and environment you are getting in the college are also good for studies creating competitiveness among students.
Admission:
I really like the college atmosphere. I miss home sometimes so I go home once a month. But overall, I know I will miss this place once I graduate. Living the best years of my life. The hostel time fun is what I love the most and exam time also passes swiftly. All in all, the serene environment of Bathinda along with the college experience has made my life heaven like and I'm loving it.
Admission:
Bhatinda is a great area. I am from Rajasthan but Bhatinda feels like home too now. I like the area, it is very peaceful. Talking about college, the teachers are supportive and the theme parties seniors organize are the best part of the month. Like last month we had an Italian themed party and I enjoyed a lot. My seniors had a Punjabi theme based party too. So, college is a good time.
Admission:
Overall, I have a very good experience with the college in these 3 years and I'm yet to see other aspects of the college. I particularly love the theme parties we organize in the college, like, last month we hosted Italian theme party and our teachers were quite supportive. The area near my college is quite peaceful and so I have a good time, when we are free.
