The curriculum is as decided by the Dental Council of India (DCI). It includes all necessary topics required for application in any dental clinic. Although the syllabus may appear to be very vast, it is doable, especially if you study consistently. There are 3 subjects each in the first, second, and third year, and eight subjects in the final year.
The course and teachers are friendly and helpful. They will guide you through the 5-year lengthy process of dentistry. The faculty: student ratio varies every year as the subject increases. The students have different subjects each year. There are some subjects like prosthodontics and endodontics which start from the first and second year onwards. The teachers prefer PowerPoint presentations for teaching and there are practical's to make the students aware of the dynamics of dentistry. The faculty have usually done masters and Ph.D. There was internals conducted to prepare the students for the finals. That was pretty timely, it was easy to pass the exams owing to friendly teachers.
The syllabus is upto date. 3rd year posting takes place in a city hospital. There the exposure is good. All the faculties are good. They are supportive, cooperative and enthusiastic.Chapter wise tests are also taken in some of the subjects. One can assist in many good surgeries.
It is expensive.as it is dental college so they had to provide us with all the dental materials and equipments, dental chairs and many more which is Costlier. Fees structure also includes bus facility charges.
The expense structure of the college l is very reasonable and practical, I feel. It's prudent. The charges are Rs 50,000 for each annum which makes it to Rs 200,000 on an aggregate for a time of four years which isn't over the top expensive.
The fee's are really feasible as compared to other colleges. There's no backdoor entry nor any kind of donation system in our college. It is free from all of these corruptions. Also our college stands the top college among the state
