Admission:

I qualified for the entrance exam NEET MDS. I applied to Savita by keeping private college counseling as an option. This is prepaid counseling, in which we pay two lakhs and five thousand for counseling. Once we get a certain college, we give those two lakhs back to the college, which is reduced in fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We currently have a quarterly sample test for MDS from this year. This is very useful because it pays particular attention to a particular subject. It is easy for students to complete when the quota is divided into three. Savita is the only college with a quarterly sample of curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course duration is 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters which are 6 months long. We are given information about the dental treatment techniques, surgical procedures and how to replace and repair the defective teeth. The subjects of study include conservative dentistry ( module 1 & 2), pulp capping, applied anatomy of neck and head, endodontics, instrumentation & obturation of route canal, route canal access preparation and exercises done on matrix and veg placement, varnish and base application, amalgam restoration and tooth preparation. This course prepares the students to undertake effective restoration and prepares them with a sharp and critical mind to diagnose the ailments related to the teeth.

Placement Experience:

The top recruiting fields in Conservative dentistry are dental clinics, private hospitals, military health services, college/universities, government sector, hospital administration etc. The job roles offered are those of medical writer, dentist, dental hygienist, orthopedist, senior lecturer, sales manager in dental implanting, medical coordinator.
