We have compulsory Rotary internship in CDC itself. College also provides opportunity to go for mission postings in different mission hospitals in the country for a duration of 15-20 days for exposure.
We get internships in our college plus the stipend in our college is much more than the other institutes which give us the extra benefit of choosing this college. But the stipend is only for the interns and not for the externs.
College has mandatory rotatory internship. In which interns are posted in 9 clinical and non clinical departments. Max work is learnt in this period. Stipend is ?7500/per month .
One get to learn patient handling and treatment.
After completing the course student can pursue msc in our course as they don't really teach us that well and if anyone wants to go abroad soo i suggest you should choose some other college or just do study there only...placements can be made eligible in most cases for students after giving interview
All students have to look outside to get the job. Many of my classmates were struggled to get the job after completion of course. No figures to say when there was no campus placements. I heard that few companies came for placements but all were call centre companies.
The placement and job opportunities provided in the college is average.
The hospital is average and in the last few years the record has not been impressive but my marks were not that good so had to join this college.
