About ACDS
Army College of Dental Sciences, established in 2001, is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The college is managed by Army Welfare and Education Trust and is NAAC ‘A’ accredited dental college. ACDS provides BDS and MDS courses at the UG and PG level. Admission to the courses will be done based on the candidate’s performance in NEET. Along with the routine classroom teachings, the college also focuses on practical knowledge of how to be inculcated in the students which would be helpful for them in their future practice work.

Neet exam is mandatory, cut off varies each year . You can get admission if you scored around 400 marks in neet it is the estimated score . Then you have to apply in KNRUHS website for the admission procedure

I wanted to do medical since childhood. However, my NEET scores weren't enough to land me into a government medical college. Moreover, we couldn't afford a private medical institution. However, I was given a chance to do dental and I decided to opt for it since it was the best chance that I had at doing something close to what I wanted to do. I've learnt the importance of dentistry through this college and it's good.
Admission:
I always wanted to be a dentist since childhood since my grandfather was one too. He told me how important it was for people to learn the value of dental studies and how it affects a person in his/her daily life. I wanted to learn more about it and spread awareness about the importance of dental studies in my country.

The college management is one of the best management I can say frankly as it's great pleasure to be part of my college and I always admire that I'm proud student that I have studied here and learnt many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Its a three years course, will be having exam only in final year, going to be deal only with teeth. As mine is a specilization course, I will be mainly dealing only with root canal treatment other than this we will be dealing with some surgeries, fillings like amalgam, glass ionomer cement, composite, compomer etc.
Placement Experience:
Coming to the placements path as this college is a medical related profession. Placements like other professionals are not quite obvious, here the graduate either have option of opening up his or her clinic or continue with post graduate studies.
Admission:
Its 5th dental college among the dental colleges all over India.. I hhv nothing else to say more than that.
