Like the campus and tutors, the campus was first a mall which was then converted into a whole college
The tutors here seem very pleased to teacher cause I didn’t have such tutors who were always so enthusiastic to teacg
It is placed in the main market of Rajouri which sounded very exciting to source all the resources for the college year and also has many apartments for students who are willing to transfer
Dislikes
The metro being a fair might seem very useful and realistic but the college starts early in the morning at 8:15 but commuting to the college thru metro living upto the standards of this place isn’t very realistic as my commute time is almost an hour
The real nice apartments again might be a pro but not the hell amount of money you have to spend, cause as college students financial stability is not very likely to happen
The attendance system is very poor cause the portal that’s used to operate the whole campus isn’t fixed and has pretty bad bugs
Admission:
I applied to this college as it seemed to be the right choice for exploring and also the great technology. But this college is so stuck on the syllabus that there is very little grout for exploration and making college life more experimental.
The cutting-edge technology this college has compared to the esteemed university life at Nift caught my interest.
Infrastructure-advanced technology with various equipment’s and labs
Faculty-is experienced and fun to interact with
Canteen-less priced and food with various options
Dislikes
Campus is small no place to conduct events
Fees is not affordable for all considering the other expenses as well
Have to pay for stationery that is too expensive in the campus
Admission:
I preferred this college over other colleges because of its high technology with various equipments and labs having rooms for sewing, rooms for direction or shooting a film, lab with 3D printers etc.Wanting to change my course to fashion communication I feel like this college is really good for me having high technology equipment's for fc students and a nice faculty. The admission process first included an exam and then an interview round
The college has good tech. The photography studios are amazing with mirrors changing rooms hair wash equipment and everything. There is also a green screen room. There is 3d printing laser cutting all available free of cost.
The faculty is very nice and experienced. They are also helpful and kind. I havent met a rude faculty member.
The infrastructure is also good with functioning centralised AC and escalators instead of stairs. There are also alot of computer labs with the best computers
Dislikes
The college is a bit small. There is no ground. But they have terrace spaces for open space
The fee is alot. And if attendance issues arise they will take even more money from you
The schedules are sometimes messed up as classes get cancelled or rescheduled without sufficient prior information and time
Admission:
I applied to symbiosis institute of design pune and got in. I didnt choose it because sid is not that known for design. And after talking to students there i realised that the placements are not that good in SID. Whereas in pearl placements are very good. Also because i compared the courses in sid and oearl and oearl has a better fc course and faculty.
I also appliead to nift and made it to the second round. But couldnt get in due to 50% seats being of reservation and also my situation teat going not so good.
I applied to NID as well and scired a rank in 500's but NID has very high competition and only chooses oeople from ranks below 300
To get into pearl one must give an entrance exam and then a PI. The admissions are not that difficult as there is no reservation and u will get in based on ur merit
The infrastructure, the teachers and the atmosphere in the college
Girls, boys ratio is equal there is no difference in the college. Everyone is treated equally.
The effectiveness of placement is 90% and they tell us that we will be able to get one lakh to 3,00,000
Dislikes
The college is too small, comparing to others
The timings, very every day sometime, it’s too early, and sometimes it’s too late
First, they told us that it will be considered all over 75, but at the time of fees, they told that it will be considered according to every subject, which is not a good thing
Admission:
I love the faculty members and the courses in this college. How they treat us how they explain us that was amazing and the one thing I like the most was the place that they give us and it is 90% that they will provide you with the guidance and the placement. I did not look for any other college, but I do look for IilM Lodhi Road. I did not like the staff, and the course they were giving me that was BBA
The classrooms and the campus is fancy as it is built in a mall
The faculty is really nice and supportive
The canteen is really good as it is hygienic and price friendly
Dislikes
We dont have anything related to sports here on permanent basis except sports day which occurs one in a year.
We get a lot of assignments which we have to complete on a short time but its for our skill development only
We have to maintain an 75% attendance anyhow
Admission:
Because this college is the no.1 private college to do textile designing from in india and it is the best choice for anyone who wants to learn about textile. And this college also holds a 99% placement record
Examination is conducted by Pearl academy and merit is 80 percentile. Application can be found on the college website. Fees for an year is 5-6 lacs. Reservation is provided to OBC and SC/STs. The process is very smooth and easy to understand.
I applied for the course of PG Diploma Fashion Business online. I enrolled myself for a competitive entrance exam. The exam included a written round and an interview round.
While taking the interview, the examiner was doing the counseling if the course and our goals are meeting or not.
I didn't apply to any other college except this one. I didn't avail any quota to get admitted as well. When I was in 12th class, I got admitted to the college through a written test and an interview. The process was not at all tough and anyone pursuing fashion designing can get into this college easily. Counselling day was also organized and all the rules and regulations had been briefed.
To pursue FD as your UG you have few of best top colleges in INDIA specifically. So I applied in few of those top colleges which included Delhi and Mumbai only. Though being a general category student you get no edge from other students who have quoted at the time of admission. I applied for NIFT, Pearl Academy from Delhi and Whistling Wood of Mumbai.
I got into Pearl even before my 12th results were out. As the admission process is totally on the basis of you pressence, your intellectual skills and your attitude towards that field. You first to fill the form for the entrance exam and appear for that. After if you clear your entrance exam you either have a GD or PI. But its mostly a PI. I was then judged on the basis of my PI and the portfolio I took along to show at. the interview. The procedure of Pearl is quite smooth and ourely on the basis of your talent and aptitude
The admission process in Pearl Academy is done online by filling online application and submit it. Pearl academy the exam consist of two phases first was a written general aptitude test and the second phase was a personal interview.
