The internships are done in government organization in the state of Kerala. Mostly government aided corporations were we done our internships. It helps us to get deeper understanding about the subject and developed new set of skills.

College is not having enough placements. But it provides internship to municipalities and local self governments. Mostly students themselves take care of all arrangements for internships. Bcom department, economics etc goes for surveys and internships during vacations.
Kimora, Titanium, technopark...etc are the companies that offer internships with an offer. I am not a final year student, that's why I don't know more about the projects and tasks they provide and the stipend they give
No. We have to find ourselves. But they organizes career development classes as well as personality development classes. And also some there is a civil service unit named 'MICSA' for civil service aspirants.
As I mentioned above, it is mostly during the end of our 4th semester. The placement drive would last for almost 2 months and the college faculty would help us in these. Most of the recruitment occurs in the college itself while for other companies we might have to go to a different location. The recruitment mainly consists of a written test followed by an interview. One week before this commences, our college provides specific training and coaching for getting the students prepared for facing the interview and the test. Almost 40% of the students get placed every year and the placement cell help others with their resources, and most students recruited are from the Department of Commerce. Some of the recruiters include wipro, Infosys, Federal Bank, South Indian Bank etc.
Our college offers only the non-technical programs, because its an arts and science college. So, Placement and job opportunities also varying to the courses or the field of study. Our college doesn't provide any internship programs.
The college has a dedicated career guidance and placement cell which organizes training programs for soft skill development, coaching classes for different competitive exams, civil services forum identify civil services aspirants and train them.
