IPS Academy Institute of Engineering & Science is the self-financed college of Indore, which came into existence in 1999. IPS Academy IES is the only institution in MP to receive autonomous status from UGC, New Delhi. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya of Bhopal and approved by the All-India Council of Technical Education. For its wonderful work in the dynamic world of education, it ranked 6th in the West Zone, and 31st among the Top 175 Engineering colleges in the country by Times of India, 2024. It started its academic journey with an initial intake of 180, and now it has a bandwidth of 4000 students. Library: This cutting-edge facility aims to improve the reading habits of students, and help faculty, and young minds in their research and academic works. The library has an extensive collection of 50000 books, periodicals on the latest subjects, newspapers, magazines, and journals on Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Chemical, and Fire Tech disciplines followed by Video Cassettes, and CDs on related engineering branches.
Apart from this, the library has enough seating space for students and faculties, and all its operations are fully computerized. - especially for the CS and Architecture the college is better compare to many big institutes in Indore.

- as it has many colleges in single space we get to see lots of fights as well and lots of students roaming around.
- as a CS student i have not seen the use of use of projectors and screens (once or twice a semester).

Admission process was not that long as i expected it was short and simple there is an admission cell in each block which gives everything you wants to know and helps you with any queries. i did not take any entrance test as i got admission with the help of my JEE MAINS marks.
