BIP Birbhum Admission

Admission in Bengal Institute of Polytechnic is based on clearing and securing good ranking in JEXPO and VOCLET (Joint Entrance Exam for Polytechnics), state level exams conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. Student must have passed 10th for JEXPO and for VOCLET, student must have passed 12th. 

Students must check the eligibility criteria thoroughly as after submitting the online application form, the money will not be refunded.

Student can avail the seat under DQ (District Quota) under JEXPO after proving that his/ her schooling must be completed in Madhyamik or equivalent education. The courses are full time in nature.

Application Process

  • Visit the board site to register for the concerned entrance based on the qualification.
  • Then, the candidate has to purchase the application form from the college.
  • Before purchasing the application form, one must ensure his/her eligibility for the respective examinations. Once purchased forms cannot be returned.
  • The candidate has to secure a good rank in the qualifying exams JEXPO and VOCLET. 
  • Although securing a rank in any of the above examinations does not ensure a seat for admission.
