IISER Tirupati Admission 2025: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Registration, Form, Selection
The flagship programme of IISER Tirupati is BS-MS Degree which is offered in the duration of 5 years. IISER Tirupati accepts the valid scores of KVPY/ IIT-JEE Advanced/ SCB entrance examinations for admission to the BS-MS Degree Programme.
Students enrolled in the integrated undergraduate BS-MS Degree at IISER Tirupati can secure a number of lucrative scholarships offered by the Government of India. Also, the institute charges a total fee of INR 3.23 Lakhs for its BS-MS Degree.
However, the seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the merit lists prepared by the institute based on the scores of the 10+2 along with respective entrance exams. Students under the SCB scheme will have to appear for the IISER aptitude test.
Besides BS-MS Degree Programme, IISER Tirupati also offers Integrated PhD and PhD program among different specializations on the basis of selection process conducted by the institute only.
IISER Tirupati BS-MS Admission 2025
IISER Tirupati offers the full-time BS-MS course for a duration of 5 years. Admissions for the same is based on the aggregate in 10+2 examination and merit-based on any of the listed entrance exams.
IISER Tirupati BS-MS Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission into the BS-MS course must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent with Science stream.
- Candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in aggregate, in order to be eligible for BS-MS Admission at IISER Tirupati.
IISER Tirupati BS-MS Selection Criteria
The selection criteria for this program is based on three schemes and they are mentioned as follows:
- KVPY: Candidates seeking admission must have a valid KVPY fellowship under SA, SB, SX category. In addition, there is also a cutoff criteria according to scores obtained in 10+2 board examinations.
Or
- IIT-JEE: In addition to the valid 10+2 board score, candidates scoring the rank within the given limit released by the Joint Admissions Committee (JAC) for that particular year are eligible for this program.
Or
- SCB: Candidates who have obtained the cutoff marks specified for the board are eligible to appear for the online IISER aptitude test (IAT) through the SCB channel.

Candidates eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced Exam can follow the below mentioned points to apply for the JEE Advanced Exam online.
- Visit the official website of JEE Advanced and register yourself using the application number and password of JEE Main.
- Start filling your JEE Advanced application form by entering all the required information such as educational qualifications and personal details.
- Upload the scanned images of all your required documents.
- Make the payment of INR 2800 (INR 1400 for the female and SC/ST/PwD candidates) for application fee through the digital payment platforms or net banking/ credit card/ debit card.

IISER Tirupati Integrated Ph.D. (I-Ph.D.) Admission 2025
The integrated Ph.D. was initiated in the year 2018 at the institute in four main specializations namely, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The duration of the program is for 6 years with research work.
IISER Tirupati Integrated Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission into the I-PhD program must have minimum 60% marks in aggregate in BSC/B.tech/B.E or any equivalent degree.
- Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided to the SC/ST, PD, and KM students.
IISER Tirupati Integrated Ph.D. Selection Criteria
- To qualify for admissions, candidates must obtain valid scores in the qualifying examination. The entrance exam required for the respective courses is given below:

IISER Tirupati Ph.D. Admission 2025
The Ph.D. program is a 5-year program offered by the institute with various disciplines and associated interdisciplinary areas of research. This program involves coursework and teaching assistantship (TA). There are 3 specializations offered under the PhD Program, namely: Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
IISER Tirupati Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission in any of the PhD disciplines must M.Sc with 55% marks in aggregate or 60% in aggregate in B.E/B.Tech.
- Relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST/KM/PD candidates.

- I liked the research environment which is provided by IISER
- The opportunity to do master thesis outside institute in foreign universities as well.
Dislikes
- I disliked the time it took to shift in two different campuses , as it was in transit campus when i joined.
- Institute sometimes showed inability to take positive criticism by some student on social media platform
Admission:
I appeared for NEET -2019 and scored around 555 which wasn't enough to get through cutoff and give me an opportunity to enroll in any medical college in my state , but as i was interested in research only , and thus when i got to know about IISER's dual degree program and its scope of extensive research i thought of giving it a shot and luckily i could crack IAT ( IISER Aptitude Test ) and i feel it was a good decision . The admission process of IISER involves an entrance exam known as IISER Aptitude Test , after that there is document verification if you make through the cutoff .
Likes
- Campus: it's a great place. A newly constructed college. A hill view from balcony or window will make your morning and evening worthy. Hostels, academic, admin building, lecture complex, library construction completed.
- Campus Life: we have a great campus life. Yeah there are some boundaries becuz of safety. Yeah u can go to IIT Tirupati also, that is only 5km from here.
Dislikes
- The time boundaries is one of the thing I don't like. As we all are college students and we are not child anymore but after all this there are restrictions on us. You can't outside of the campus after 6 PM. We have to return to room before 12:30AM
- Funds are low for our students activities. So it makes us irritated sometimes.
Admission:
So basically admission is done through National level exam that is IAT. IAT that means IISER Admission Test. The application fees is Rs1000 (it may vary). So the syllabus is Physics, chemistry, biology and maths. Fresher, dropper and double dropper are eligible to give exam. You will find the application form on the website of IAT and all the details will be there only. Yes, I availed reservation and you will get benefit of reservation in fees of the college. The exam is currently easy to difficult. No need to panic.

The application process was quite easy you can apply through the eyes are aptitude test portal. Exam is around the month of May or June you have counselling following that and college allotment after that

Admission:
The Indian Institute of science education and research Tirupati is the sixth institute established in a series of seven users by the central government of India. Tirupati has excellent labs in physics, biology and chemistry. It also has an excellent department of mathematics. We have a large campus situated in the foothills of the Kala has the mountain range, the student culture in Tirupati is vibrant and students are exposed to plethora of extra curricular activities such as sports, music, dance and drama that supplement academic pursuits to enhance students academic careers. The institute has an innovation, cell and an incubation cell where students in their pre-final and final years can , pursue innovative projects and file for patents

- Mess food can be improved, sometimes its good even
- Located far away from the main city, traveling to city takes time
Admission:
The eligibility for admission is minimum 75% in 12th Boards IISERs conduct the IISER Aptitude Test every year and application starts around April-May. The application form fee is around ?1500-2000. You can find more detailed information on the iiser aptitude test website. Reserved categories get benifit of paying lesser application fee& admission fees as well as 50% seats in all IISERs reserved for Ews/OBC/SC/ST/KM etc. The entrance exam level is more or less compared to JEE and other equivalent national level exams. Difficulty level medium to high. The choice filling for IISERs is done while filling the application form itself. It should be done once results come out, so that candidates can fill their choices conveniently.

- There is mandatory 80 percent attendance and i personaly do not like it
- You can not go outside campus after evening 6 pm .
Admission:
Those who have passed their 12th class can apply but only while studying 12 th and after passing 12th, one can appear iiser aptitude . It does not matter whether you are a biology or math student . You can attend both math and bio section in test it is best . But if you dont know anything about math or biology you can skip the entire section . I got 11500 overall rank and 700 category rank(sc). Iiser should allow admission to those who have taken more than 1 drop

Admission:
10th & 12th with minimum marks required Go to the IISER admission website. The application fee for ST/SC is 1000/- and OC is 2000/- and the application will be released in March to April. For ST/SC there is no tuition fee only mess fee and hostel fee need to be paid. There are good enough seats for them.
Remarks:
I got the good score in her advance according to my score I got this college and coming to course from childhood I'm very Interested in mathematics it is the main reason to choose the course and this is the one of the prestigious government institute in india
