The curriculum is pretty balanced which provides an altogether concept of engineering related to various fields. The exams occur over a period of about five months. The exam level is quite standard and is decently good for developing the core concepts of engineering.

After my 10+2, I decided to pursue my higher studies in computer science as it is my domain of interest moreover as technology is a boom nowadays due to which It was a very popular and relevant branch. Moreover, I like logic, analysis, and practical entity. There is a good faculty and student ratio, and most of the faculties are well behaves and supportive. And a maximum of them are Ph.D. and Mtech holders from reputed institutions. We have two midterms and practical exams on each semester followed by End term Examination. The syllabus is average in today's tech scenario, we have to study new and updated stuff. And exams are average and much easy to pass, students are well passed this year.
CSE is the leading branch in engineering these days and so it was the best choice. The faculties of this department are very skilled and knowledgeable. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:30, which is great. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and the rest have completed their MTech. Their teaching methods are very much conceptual and all doubts are cleared. About the exams- Odd semester exams are held in December and even semester in June. Due to the pandemic since 2020, exam times are fluctuating still.
I'm a Undergraduate from CSE because it's the only college in BARAK VALLEY of state government having CS as branch. Teaching quality is up to the mark with teachers using GOOGLE classroom for smooth assignment and notes distribution. Curriculum is under ASTU which is having updated syllabus which makes us ready for industry Internship.
Yes the fees structure is completely affordable. Since it is a state government college. It is funded by the Government of Assam. So fees are subsidized. We need to pay the fees anually once. We pay the entire tution fees along with hostel fees, library fees, electricity bill and supply water bill. Thus the fee is pretty much feasible.
The fee structure is not bad and complety payable. It shouldn't get in the way of poor students paying their fees. Payment is made online or offline. There's registration fees for every semester, then the college main fee and the exam fees.
10700/year for Academics & 3400/year for hostel The rates are less since it's a govt Engineering College. The fees are less which makes students to study easily without taking any heavy education loan. The electricity bill in hostel are not charged which makes it very good
Fee structure as very low as compare to other colleges as it is govt college, so per year we pay only 14000, our hostel mess per month cost for a person is 2700, One need to 2700 per month for mess, In 14000 fee there include all charges like exam fee, hostel fee, wifi fee, lab fee, health fee, library fee etc.
