Salesian College (Autonomous), managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata Province, is a government-recognised Catholic minority institution. Established in Shillong in 1933 and relocated to Sonada in 1938, it now serves over 3,000 students in various disciplines/programmes. The Siliguri Campus, opened in 2009, offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Salesian College, accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’ and recognised as a "College with Potential for Excellence," became an autonomous institution in 2023. It has adapted to post-pandemic education with a blended learning model and continues to expand its curriculum in line with the New Education Policy 2020, offering a Dual Major from 2024.
Ours is a green campus spread over 30 acres of land with spacious lecture halls, audio-visual halls, laboratories, a library, playfields, and sports facilities.
Salesian College (Autonomous) Siliguri has a dedicated Placement Cell, and we have MoUs with industries, corporate houses for the placement of our students. A year-round guidance is provided to the students for placements. Sessions on career guidance and taking up higher studies after graduation are provided to the students in different sessions spaced out in different segments of the academic year.

As per the rules in Salesian College, it is mandatory for a student to acquire minimum of 75% attendance in all courses to be eligible to appear for the Examination.
BBA Finance is not available in Salesian College, Siliguri. The course is offered in General specialisation only.
