The curriculum is based on stages of learning. In the initial primary year we learn about the basics of the course then as the term progress we learn about different aspects of the course and in the final year it is all applications of what we have kearnt in previous 3 years. In internship we apply the knowledge we gained and get experienced from direct contact with the patients. The frequency of examination is one year it's pretty well time for getting a good hold on subject.
To help and serve people and society Faculty-student ratio is 1:10 per subject Their qualification is MBBS, MD and their teaching methods are very nice Term exams are at every two months and their difficulty is average
Fee was 69500INR for our batch, but now it is around 2,50,000 INR (excluding hostel fee). Job opportunities work different in medicine. You don't have to go hunting for jobs or get selected by companies like in engineering. Once you complete the course, there's a 1yr mandatory internship in the college. You will be paid on a monthly basis. Following internship, you will have to complete the rural service bond which you signed before joining there course. It will be 1 yr for us. You will be paid for your rural service. At this point, you can settle with a full time goverment job in a PHC or study higher for PG. It's similar in PG, once you crack NEET PG (which is soon going to be called as NEXT) and get the seat, this will have to study and work at the same time. You will be paid stipend during your PG course. After completion of 3yr PG course, you will have a 1yr senior residency bond in a government college after which you can join or work where ever you want.
The Fee structure for me (our batch)is 20000/ annually But the Government hiked the fee structure for new batch (junior ) about 60000 so the comming batch should pay more than is.fees is paid directly in bank.
Feasible As it's government organisation the fee will be limited as per the government. It charges college fee, hostel fee and mess fee. Nothing else apart from these. It's very much feasible to pay in this organisation.
As it is a government college it is feasible to most of the students fees is about some 50k per year which includes library sports instruments , maintenance, tuition fee,etc For our batch fees was 20k per year but now it has increased to 50k which is decided by the government.
The KIMS college is established by the Karnataka government and totally maintained and taken care of by the government so the fees have been kept very nominal which can be afforded by anyone.
The fee structure of the college is divided into 2 types, the first one is the state quota in which rupees 14000 is charged for general/OBC and 23500 is charged for the students who belong to SC/ST category. another one is AIQ quota where the fee is charged more than state quota.
