What's New in TACT?
The notification for the CAT and XAT exams has been released.
- The last date to apply for the CAT exam is September 13, 2024. The admit card will be made available from November 5, 2024, and the exam will take place on the 4th Sunday of November, i.e., November 24, 2024. Students can visit @iimcat.ac.in and register for the same. The results are expected to release in January of next year.
- The last date to apply for the XAT exam is yet to be released. However, the deadline for the registration as well as the Admit Card will be made available from December, 2024. The Exam will take place on January 5, 2025. Students can visit the official XAT website for the same.
Trident Academy of Creative Technology (TACT) was established in 1997. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
TACT, Bhubaneswar offers MCA as the flagship course. Applicants are selected for admission depending upon the score in OJEE exam followed by the Counselling.
Apart from MCA, it also provides admission in MBA course. Selection of candidates is based on the OJEE/CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA score.
Those who are interested to apply can register online on the OJEE portal. The registration is likely to commence in the month of January/February.

Trident Academy of Creative Technology MCA Eligibility
The minimum requirement for the course is as follows:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates)
- Further, they must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the Graduate level. (NOTE - Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted)
- Candidates who have passed BCA with Mathematics may appear for the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level.
- There is no age limit to apply for MCA course.
Eligibility for Lateral Entry
- Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree in BCA, B. Sc (IT/ Computer Science) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/St candidates).
- Also, they must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at the Graduate Level. (NOTE - Business Mathematics at +2 levels is not permitted.)
- There is no age limit to apply for admission in 2nd year of MCA under Lateral Entry.

How to Apply for Trident Academy of Creative Technology?
To apply for Trident Academy of Creative Technology, candidates need to fill the application form through OJEE portal. The steps to apply are simple and one can find them below:
- Visit the official website of OJEE.
- Click on the “New Registration” link.
- Select the desired course for which you want to apply.
- Read the agreement and check the ‘I Agree’ block.
- Now register with valid details and submit to proceed.
- Login and fill the personal and academic details.
- Create a password for logging in for the next time.
- Click on the submit button.
- Candidates will receive OTP at the registered number for locking choices.
- Lock the choices.
- Select “Edit Registration” in case of incorrect details or “Confirm Submissions” to proceed.
- After the mock allotment, log in for counselling registration.
- Now pay the counselling fee of INR 450/-.
- Lock the choices and click on the “Save and Continue” button.

Trident Academy of Creative Technology Scholarships
The Government of India and Odisha offers various Scholarships to MCA and MBA students. Candidates can check all the Scholarships below:
- National Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded to the student whose family income is less than INR 4.50 LPA and further who have obtained a merit in OJEE exam. The Government of India offers INR 10,000/- per annum to such students.
- Medhabruti Scholarship - This scholarship is awarded by the Government of India to meritorious students for their post matric studies. The rate of scholarship is INR 10,000 LPA for Professional Technical. However, it is INR 12,000 LPA for special Girls Merit.
- Prerana - This scholarship is offered to candidates belonging to SC/ST category. Such candidates must have obtained 50% in the qualifying exam and their family income should not exceed INR 1 lakh for OBC and INR 2 lakhs for SC/ST.

- The infrastructure of the college and lab facilities are good for an mtech scholar, faculties are supportive.. also college providing the a vlsi tool acces as synopsys tools which is totally based on linux system
- The college management also provides us various training for excelling our expertise in our domain. Many trainings are being given to us such as coding though hdl and design of electronics circuit etc.
Dislikes
- Not many things but there are something i don't like about is that sometimes college involve us in unnecessary works.. yeah but its ok..
Admission:
for taking admission first we have to give the ojee and after that we can apply for the course with our ramk card, along with that we need to provide our ug marksheet and adhar card. After verification all the original documents will be returned.

- Infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. Peacefull environment. Y
- Faculties of our college is amazing.. They are very much serious regarding their work .
Dislikes
- Campus is very small compare to other colleges. It could be more advanced as fees is almost same as other colleges .
- Canteen is very small as strength of students are much....canteen food equality and menu should be enhanced as they offer very less options .
Admission:
You can take admission in this college through JEE or OJEE....if your jee score is under 5lakh then you can go for computer science engineering and if more than that then you can go for other streams but not computer science engineering... preferences are there people who belongs to same state in OJEE..

- I like the college enviorment with full of piece it is a best enviorment for study purposes.
- The teaching style of teacher is absoultely fantastic.
Dislikes
- There are only few fast food shops for which students depend on external side of campus.
- There is no big reason to dislike the college.
Admission:
There is a specific entrance exam in trident, by clearing that exam student get extra facilities means their course fees are below as compared to normal students. In admission block rhe admission procedure held, student need their respective certificates like board and plus two certificate, annual income of parent etc

- The classroom, lab and the teachers. All things are better than other colleges. The Campus is also so beautiful and big.
- The technical things are also good. The library is also big in size
Dislikes
- The food in hostel isn't so good. And the canteen system isn't perfect
- The playground isn't so big and clean. And the parking area too

The admission process is very easy. A student can book the seat by giving 10000/- and after the selection they can deposit the documents and extra fees and got admitted in the college very easily. The application form is find in the office of the college

- Semester Studies completion before the time period ( 6 Months Course in 3-4 months )
- Hostel Sanitation is not good can say Average, quality of cleaniness has degraded in 3yrs

Eligibilty in the course is Subject in Intermediate ( 12th ) should include English & Maths. Apllication & Admission was done directly reaching the admission cell. Application Fees for Admission was 10,000 which will be deducted from course fees.\ Exam Frequency is twice a year ( Semesters ) & Internal Exams are taken by College before the Semesters.

Dislikes
- The classrooms have not AC during summer.
- Canteen is not clean and the foods of the canteen is not good in taste.
Admission:
Course eligibility- Maths in 12th + All bachelor's degree College took admission on the OJEE MCA score which is a govt entrance exam and anyone finds an application from the Ojee.ac.in the website in the month of jan-apr. Exam difficulty is medium and the exam is conducted 1times per year. There is also a way to take admission which is seat reservation which costs around 20k.

- There is no good facilities for playing outdoor games
- There is no ac in classrooms.. Its too difficult to sit in summer days

For joining here you need to have good marks in Board exams and have good percentile in JEE Mains for getting Computer science branch.. If you want any other then no need of mains marks.. You just need to book the seat by giving a total of 20000rs.

- The teachers are very friendly. That's why we can ask any questions without any dear and also they teach that again without any hesitation.
- It has a nice garden. It's such a good place to be there in free time
Dislikes
- No Ac in the classroom. Because of this we have to suffer a lot during summers.
- The playground isn't in good condition. For that we can't play games that effectively.
Admission:
The admission process was a little bit easy. All we have to do is book a seat their in advance by giving 20k (refundable) or just by applying the counseling. Yes it has reservation benefits. Sc/St can get the seat even if they secured low marks than general. The time gap between one to another semester exam is approximately 4 months. And yes the exams are a little bit difficult as it is being held by BPUT not by our own college. The admission process is already great but one thing is the administrative officers are big manipulators. They always think about their benefits and suggest you that course in which the seats are not filling up fast.

Admission process was pretty decent. The cut of at that time was more than 75% in 12th. Application form was available on the website. And teachers and faculty were quite helpful in the admission process

- Campus selection process is not good enough
- The college is not good for extra curricular activities and clubs.
Admission:
It doesn't have any entrance exams. We got selected on the basis of jee ranks.The application form is to be found in the office of the college. Application fees for this college is same as other government colleges under BPUT.
