Course Curriculum Overview :

The specific aspect of choosing MCA is learning programming and DATABASE. This course helps to solve all the digital problems in the real world. The course duration should be large, teach should be project-oriented. The frequency and timing of the exam are very high according to my college almost every week there is an exam conducted by the college.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 133500 per year

Placement Experience :

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. companies like ODITEK, WIPRO, INFOSYS, TATWA tech, TECh Mahindra, etc come to college every year. Highest package of the previous batch was 1200000rs and the lowest is 300000rs. Only 40% of students got placed due to the recession otherwise the placement percent was 90%. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job in PSU.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College provides Tution fee webinars (TFW) to very poor people which is 50% of the college fees. Every year there is a hike in college fees of 30-40k due to high demand of the course (i.e MCA) in the trident. The complete cost of my education is 219000rs/year which includes course fees, examination fees, hostel fees and all other compulsory charges. The TFW scholarship for poor students, Post matric scholarship (amount 20k/yr) to all students.

Campus Life :

The annual festival is held in the month of February every year and the tech festival in January. You can access all books from the library but every time you are allowed to take only 5 books then after submission you can take more. All classrooms contain digital board. campus provides a sports and other extracurricular competition event every year. Students run a social group and tech clubs in the campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility includes room, bed and access to hostel canteen. The meal quality is average and the menu is good which includes 4 days non-veg and 3 days veg meals. You can register for the hostel during admission time. If anyone wants to take rented room or PG then the location will be INFOCITY square , patia or Sailashree vihar.

Hostel Fee : INR 84000 per year

Admission :

Course eligibility- Maths in 12th + All bachelor's degree College took admission on the OJEE MCA score which is a govt entrance exam and anyone finds an application from the Ojee.ac.in the website in the month of jan-apr. Exam difficulty is medium and the exam is conducted 1times per year. There is also a way to take admission which is seat reservation which costs around 20k.

Faculty :

In Trident Academy of Technology, bbsr, the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:70, which is not good according to me. Sometimes It is very difficult to manage the whole class. The faculty provides their own prepared note to the students. They all are very friendly. After class hours they are taking doubts of the students. I can interact with all faculty at any time physically or by call.

Reality check

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the course will give you a basic idea about how the software or IT industry works that are the basic tools. In the 1st sem you will have computer architecture that will give us idea about the working and integration of hardware components with software attributes. Operating system will tell us the working of the OS with respect to computer and basic algos. Discrete mathematics that will prepare us for yo deal with algos in future and graphs that are much needed to design or know compiler idea. Database Management System will train us to deal with data in a database. Then C programming. Like wise you have DSA in 2nd Sem that is important for job purpose and will make us known about various algorithms. Similarly HTML, CSS, JS important for frontend. Java will be introduced in 2nd sem.The syllabus is very old and is not designed to make you a pro in today's time. You need to simultaneously prepare for the market demand from other places like online or any other source.

Admission:

The berhampur University is an Indian university in the state of orissa. In order to seek admission into the MCA programme a student must be a graduate with a good academic back ground. Besides this a student should qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the state of Odisha (O-JEE). After being declared as qualified you can complete the admission process.

The best college in odisha for B.Tech and MCA.

Remarks:

College is good as of my experience if you are like to learn and spend more time on study rather than fun then you will like the college. This college time table is very strict unlike the other college. Some time you will feel like school bcoz of its very busy time table of continuous classes. The class time is regular 8 AM to 5 PM everyday except sunday. There is 1 short break and 1 long break in between.
