College hostel is below average. The rent was 6000 per month for food and accommodation in December 2019. Availability is not an issue. But there are many private pg and hostel services very near to the college campus
No I have not opted for any hostel but both Boys/Girls hostel is available in Institute. Total fee is _24,000 for 6 months in which food is also available. Yes, you have to share the room. The Whole area in which institute lies is named Scheme-71, Gumashta Nagar. Now if you don't want live in Institute Hostel, you can either live in flat or in rented Room near the College. Single rooms are available in the range of 3500-5000 in Gumashta Nagar Area. Both Boys and Girls Hostel are also available near the Institute, you can go through them if you like to live in Hostel
I prefer to live in pg than hostel. I shared my room with 2 other girls. The rent of my room was 5500 per month including food. The infrastructure of pg was not so good but it was so near to college that's why i choose to live there. The vaishnav hostel is not so good.
There are various PGs and Hostels As in Gumasta mostly every person has built an room for PGs as many students came from other place to study and the families are very cooperative too. Hostels are 100mtr max away from our college for girls and boys hostel is also around that much only.
Hostels are also 2 in our college boys and also for girls in the hostel the discipline also maintained by students and also faculties and the food was not good at all in the vaishnav I m not the students of this.

There is no college life as we see in movies because the college is strict in terms of discipline. You need to come daily in proper uniform with having your ID card, farewell/fresher parties in the clubs is strictly prohibited by the institute. You need to be in proper discipline, and if you are having a vehicle then you need to wear helmet otherwise you are not able to enter in the campus with your two wheeler. Institute organise many extracurricular activities to stop Tabacco, save environment, plant trees and many more things.

My college life is very interesting because of their facilities, programs, extra curriculum activities. I get so many friends from other cultures, state ,caste ,creed which increases my knowledge and experience about India and its diversity. I'm a socially involved person and this college helps me to make effort to involve in it

There is constant improvement taking place. I must tell you, the campus life can't be measured with the size of campus. SVIM has the best set of people who you won't regret being friends with and you will get a lot of opportnuities to showcase your talent. There are annual fests to socialise and get involved in, fests are a lot of fun. The library is huge, you will find all the subjectorial books which will help you academically for the syllabus as well as outside the syllabus. There are books to prepare for the placements and competitive exams. You will not find more sweet and humble teachers outside this premises, teachers are very well mannered and polite. We had synergy annual fest at our times, we also had a live concert etc. Labs work fine, there are no macbooks but you can become a great programmer if you utilise efficiently.

The college is very strict about the rules. they ask students to wear helmets and id cards else there is no entry for them on the premises. Every year annual fest Prabandhotsav is organised, which is very learning and the only time to have fun for students. It is usually held in July. Additionally, they contain an annual fest in December as well. The library is perfect. You can find all the journals and subject matter books in the library, and the ambience of the library is excellent. Classrooms were not as decorative. There were intelligent projectors, desks and windows, that's it. Nothing significant was catchy in the classrooms. Social and sports clubs are, for the name's sake, barely organise any event. You can expect sports clubs to be a little active during Sports Day. Else there is no vibrancy in clubs.
