New education policy provided us to study various new things and skills to learn but they are not providing students to learn those practically in the field and must have to provide internship program to te students they can learn as well as gain some experience so it will help them in their career after college .
I chose this course because I have interest in it & I want to know more about psychology & stuff Psychology teachers are very good here They are very supportive All the term exams are level of moderate to difficult.

I am pursuing BA (Economics) Hons which is considered as one of the most difficult course in Delhi University. I choose this course because it is based on Mathematics in Economics, Applications for Economics and I have a keen interest in the subject 'Economics'. The faculty ratio in my course is quite good which is 4:50. The qualification of our faculty is very good like the teachers have masters and PhD degrees in Economics. The term exams are held very timely in every 4-5 months and it is quite difficult to pass the exams but with consistently practising one can pass with good marks.
The course curriculum is pretty good And We have a Library with plenty of Knowledge and also a Reading Room We Had our classes Timely and Properly all the subject teachers are Good and Give us their 100 % By Teaching us with the very Good Methods
I was in an economic society. There were 32 students in my class girls were around 12. If I talk about the faculty the teachers were not good they won't come to take classes. The teaching method was very bad too.
Faculty: Some teachers are nice. They teach us like their own children. Frequency of all the lectures is less. Some teachers of extra subjects like AECC SECC were hired/assigned teaching their subjects in the last two months. Canteen: They provide good and hygienic food.
The course syllabus is really engaging and fascinating, I had no idea about Economics but in less than a year I was totally submerged in the subject with keen interest. The faculty are good, apart from teaching they did help in settling with the new environment.
All are good and in developing state. Course is well too good and developing continuously. While curriculum actities are being inducted in regular intervals.academics are really very good.teachers being very helpful and available to all. faculty is average and is working on itself right now.
The course is updated but the faculty of college is not good. There is no regularity and teachers don't have full knowledge about the subjects. The syllabus is not completed on time and they don't have adequate teachers for particular subjects.
Shyam Lal College, Delhi is a good institute but not exceptional, if its prospects are compared with various other colleges. However, the economics department alone can be a good choice if you are opting for Shyam Lal College.
Now, the faculties are good but it is essential that you study as per your pace and competence, without depending upon the professors.
Shyam Lal College can be a good choice only if you are devoid of any other options to go for. There are other aspects to consider when choosing a college, the infrastructure, crowd, internship programs, fest, societies, canteen, campus, location are to name a few among many others.
The infrastructure is quite good. The internship programs, alongside the fests, are not quite exceptional. In a way, the societies, in contrast, are ranging higher from time to time. Moreover, the canteen of the college is somewhat above average, while the location is quite disadvantageous. However, the institute is deemed pretty much better than others since it is under the University of Delhi.
Overall Shyam Lal College, Delhi is a decent option for pursuing your Economics Hons. Now whether you should go for it or not depends on what other options you have.
