The applied psychology course at SPM is one of the top courses the college offers, with experienced faculty and relevant syllabus. The research experience is highly stressed upon. Mentorship is also provided on future aspects of the field. Exams however focus more on theoretical understanding and are very lengthy.
The course I opted for is applied psychology honors. I choose to go for this course because psychology quite fascinated me during my 11th and 12th class. I was also interested in understanding human behavior and the reason behind it. Our college faculty is very nice and full of intellectual and helpful people. They are warm and kind. Teachers are always ready to help you whenever you need them and overall the teaching methods used are also very good and effective
Applied psychology is a great course to study. It includes different fields like counseling, clinical, sports, fashion, travel, HR, management, etc. 10:50. Every professor is highly qualified. Most of them own a doctorate degree. After every 6 months when the semester ends.
1. Applied psychology is a great course. It details the human mind, behavior, mental processes, etc. 2. The faculty-student ratio is - 10:50 3. The faculty is well qualified. Most professors in the applied psychology department own a Doctorate. 4. After every 6 months semester exams occur. Also, it's quite easy to pass these semester exams because the question paper is set by DU teachers and it comes from the syllabus itself.
Fcaulty is just wow, all the teacher's are helpful and understanding. Teachers also help in research and all if someone wants to conduct reearch. Teaching methods are not that much unique but that's fine, teachers solve query whenever anyone faces any difficulty.
Psychology has always been my passion and applied Psychology gives wings to that. You get to learn a lot. As for the faculty-student ratio, it's pretty good as compared to other colleges. We have 55 students in the class and other colleges have 75 to 150 students. So it's satisfactory. The faculty is amazing and teaches with passion. They're pretty chill about submissions but also very vigilant. They know what the students are upto. The exams are fine. Every subject has its own technicalities,, so one has to look for oneself. Just to point out that Applied Psychology is about researching so a different subject of research is introduced.
Earlier it wasn't good enough as my seniors told me that they studied the syllabus of last sem into the first one and first into the last one But as I entered college that was the batch of 2019 Delhi university made really changes in the syllabus So it's all solved now We've got great exposure and we are studying all the types of psychology which is required for my future
