When do I apply for the courses?

You can apply for the courses after the results of your 10 + 2 or equivalent exam and NCHMCT JEE exam are announced. The dates and schedule for the same will be posted on the official website.

You can apply to the institute through online mode by downloading the application form from the website and submitting it after filling the correct and up-to-date details.

What are the hostel accommodations?

The institute possesses separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel allotment would be done every semester based on performance and attendance record of your ward & preference would be given to the 1st year student, hence an approval in written has to be submitted before the end of every semester for approval. Once approved, parents may deposit the hostel fee and submit a fee receipt copy to the hostel warden for records.

The college is situated in the serene surrounding of nature.So peaceful environment.
100% placements have been given every year.
Near to Silicon city which is good for the students living in hostel

Dislikes

5 star hotels brand for the placement is limited
Cafeteria food is sometimes unhygienic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had opted HM industry to pursue a career in the kitchen departement but during my industrial training I started gaining interest in the front office department. To be honest 80% of the cource that you study in your college will not be useful in the hotel industry because every hotel has their own standards.Teaching methods in the college can be improved.

My life at State institute of hotel management, indore

Likes

the method of learning which includes both practical as well as theoretical based learning which helps in grasping a lot of skills knowledge and attitude
the college has a acquired skilled faculty to pertain knowledge to its students in all departments
the food provided by the college is highly nutritious and filling throughout the day

Dislikes

the college being a government college has a high amount of fees as compared to private colleges

Placement Experience:

in 5th semester we need to submit our CV to the respected faculty who is incharge of placements, in 6th semester placements start taking place and hotels and retail sector starts the interview for hiring . 350000 is the mininmum package per year which our college provide.

Best View College.

Likes

The best part is the college is located on the hills.The view of thr college is best.
The faculties was too good and supportive. They take care like a father or mother.
The college atmosphere was too good.The food is also very nice. Every one support there

Dislikes

The placement part is Not much good. No big companies are there
The warden of the hostel and cook is not good in behaviour
Few Faculties are not upto the mark on their professional.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester Student are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Haldiram Bicano Pizza hut macdonald Taco bell reliance Marriott hotels etc. Average package students get 2-3lakh approx. The highest package 4lakh for MT Students Placed in Taj or Oberoi. . 70-80% Students placed in college campus. Plans getting a job.

I like my classrooms because there is peace that I like so much.
I like the entrance of my collage ...........
I like the faculties cause their teaching methods are good enough.

Dislikes

I don't like the outing rules of boys hostel.
I don't like to argue with guards at the time of outing.
I don't like the cafeteria's entrance cause the doors are too big.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd sem. the studends are eligible for the campus placements. There are visited big companies like TAJ, MARRIOT, SHERATON, THE LEELA etc. The highest package offered by company was 40000. There are 70 % chances to get placements
