About IHM Hajipur
Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and applied nutrition, popularly known by the name Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) was established in 1998 in the Hajipur district of Bihar. This autonomous Institute comes under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. IHM Hajipur Admission 2024
Admission in BSc is taken through NCHMCT JEE. It is a national level exam taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA) every year. Students are alloted seats on the basis of cut off of All India Ranks and after proper counselling.
To get admission in any of the diploma courses candidates will have to give an entrance test. It is a MCQ based written test taken by the college itself. Results are out at the college official website. It publishes a merit list for selected candidates and a waiting list which may get selected further.

- Register at the official website of NCHMCT.
- After registration candidates will get an unique application number and password.
- Log in to your account with the generated password.
- Now start filling your application form.
- Upload your and your signature scanned photographs and fill all the details asked to. Enter all your personal details carefully.
- Now after completing the application form pay the money via net banking, credit/debit card or any available online option.

Admission:
The applicant should have a 12th pass with any stream but should have English in his subjects. The willing candidate has to apply for the NCHMCT JEE also known as (NCHM JEE) conducted by NTA every year. The dates may vary but usually, the start date is from February onwards. Reservations are there for SC, ST, and EWS as per the NCHMCT norms. The fee of the application is 1000rs for General / OBC candidates, 750rs for EWS, and 450rs for SC / ST / PD / Transgender. The exam will be CBT mode and the questions will be objective type. After giving exam response sheet will be released for the candidate to check his/her response and can raise objections if there are any. Then after scorecard will be released with All India Rank. On the basis of his/her AIR counseling will happen and the cut-off will be released. For admission to Top IHMs, one should have a rank below AIR1000.

Applicants to B.Sc. (in Hospitality and Hotel Administration) and Diploma courses have to pass the Higher Secondary Examination/10+2 or equivalent with English as a compulsory subject. Students appearing for final year examination (10+2) are also eligible to apply for a B.Sc. (in Hospitality and Hotel Administration). Applicants to the B.Sc. (in Hospitality and Hotel Administration) program must appear for the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam. Admissions to Diploma courses are purely done on the basis of merit.
