YSR Engineering College Scholarships
The college does not offer any scholarship schemes but the state of Andhra Pradesh offers several scholarship schemes for students who wish to take admission in the engineering college. The scholarship schemes that can be availed by students are as follows:
- Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Community Students, Andhra Pradesh - This scholarship is provided to students above 10+ 2 for UG and PG courses. A stipend of INR 240 to INR 960 per month for 10 months is provided through this scholarship.
- Gayathri Scheme for Academic Excellence (GS-AE) Andhra Pradesh - Meritorious students of 10th, 12th, and UG students can apply for this scholarship scheme.
- Combined Counselling Board (CCB) Scholarship, Andhra Pradesh - Candidates who have a minimum of 33% to 50% in the qualifying examination are eligible for this scholarship scheme. This scholarship is only available to students of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is situated on a 150-acre campus, and it offers sophisticated facilities. Candidates are given all the necessary facilities to make life on campus comfortable for good learning. The facilities offered are as follows:
- SuperComputing Facilities: A 'semi-arid-zonal Atmospheric Research Centre (SARC) was established in Aug. 2008 under a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Bengaluru at SARC. It is a high-performance computer with 20 TB storage and is equipped with weather forecast and also allied science applications. Modern meteorological remote sensors are deployed to understand monsoon, thunderstorms, and climate change.
- Bank: ATM facilities are offered within the vicinity of the campus. Candidates can withdraw cash at any time as per their convenience.
- Canteen: Canteen facilities are available for students for all the nourishment they require for the day. 2 separate cafeteria facilities are offered at the University.
- Engineering Section: The laboratory is launched to provide a platform for university students to enhance their language proficiency. It is also proposed to offer 'English Proficiency Course' to the students of other colleges by fixing the nominal fee.
- Health Centre: A health center is set up for all kinds of emergencies. Medicines, bandages, and any type of medical assistance is provided at this facility for students.
- Sports Facilities: Sports facilities are offered at the college for students who have a flair for athleticism. Students are sent to various tournaments representing the college.
- Transport facilities: These are offered to students within the vicinity and surrounding of the college. The University provides a conveyance facility commuting from Kadapa city to the campus and back. There is a special transport facility for ladies and the staff as well.

Ans. YSR College of Engineering of YVU at present has no hostel accommodation available for boys.
Ques. Where can I stay if there is no hostel facility at YSR Engineering College?
Ans. As such the college at present doesn't have hostel facilities on the campus. However, for the convenience of girl students rented accommodation is acquired and the hostels are being run on a cost to cost-sharing basis. With the support of UGC & AICTE, adjacent to the main college premises, two hostels meant for girl students are under construction.

I was eligible to course by writing the ecet exam Ecet exam conducted every year in particular time ecet exam is conducted only for diploma completed students .You can find the application form,fees,dates in ecet official website

- College is very good for studies and students comes from long distance to study.
- There no fees for studies. So it is very peaceful to study.
Dislikes
- Campus was not that much good because there is no college entrance.
- There is no proper cricket group for the students to play cricket.
Admission:
The elegibility of the course was by writing an entrance exam of AP ECET. The application of entrance exam was available at government website of Andhra Pradesh. The application fees was 1100 rupees. I applied for the application in May 2022 and exam was conducted on July 24. The reservation benefits are only available for SC and SC caste students. The entrance exam was good no need any improvement.

I found the application online and applied online. the fees for application is 880.there is no reservation bases to me .the improvement that I want to see in the adminisition process is that students should get college seats based on their rank they achieved in their entrance exam not based on the caste.

The eligibility for the course is by exam of ASSECET. We can find the application on online apsecet official online website. The process of seat availability is caste-based in every college in any state. The improvement that should be made in the admission process is that the seat selection must be based on the rank they get in the entrance exam.

The website is yvu.edu.in The application fee for the BTech (MMT) is 14000 per annum and the application starts from 15th June and ends in 15th July The fee must be low and available for all categories students.
