I was Passionate about becoming a Doctor since childhood and MBBS was the first step so it was very obvious for me to take this course, For Every 40 Students there is 1 teacher who guides us and helps us to become better 60 percent Faculty are MBBS 30 percent are MD and 7 faculties are PhD, Faculty are very enthusiastic and inspiring, they help us in small details of our syllabus Term exams are held twice a year and MBBS term exams ARE NOT EASY! we need to be prepared and give out best to get decent marks exams are tough but anyone who works hard can excel.
I chose the Medical profession out of the will to give back to society and also because of the thrill of the field. It is not a very typical profession. The faculty: student ratio is very good. There are 150 students in my batch and there are 3 subjects per year with each subject having more than 5 faculties for teaching. All the faculties are higly qualified with MD(Master of Doctorate) in their field. The exam dates are set by the MUHS and is strictly followed by our college. The pass rate is about 70% in the first year.
Teachers are very good and experienced in their job. Most of the teachers have the experience of as many years as our age is. Syllabus is completed within time and it runs in parallel with other medical Colleges. College is attached with CPR hospital which is one of the oldest hospitals of INDIA. Very good clinical exposure. During internship, we will get to learn & perform a lot of spinal anaesthesia, Intubation, normal vaginal delivery, POP slab, intracath,Suturing, Foley's catheter, etc. We also got to assist & watch closely many surgeries, eventhough I got to do very less in that, but it's a start.Good clinical exposure while wards in clinical postings during 3rd year & final year has all specialities & few super specialities like neurosurgery, urosurgeey, etc it has good Trauma-ICU, Medicine-ICU, CVTC.you get to see a varitey of cases (than your private college counterparts) as it's district government hospital
Being a government college the fee structure is feasible and not too expensive compared to other private colleges in the state. Fee structure is provided with transparency and there are not much any other extra charges. hostel charges are taken if you wish to stay in the hostel
Mbbs is very profeesional course and syllabus is vast but teacher will make that syllabus easy for us. 4.5 yrs course, over20 subjects to master, academics is very good in my college, faculties are experienced. They share knowledge and their experience with us.
Feasible .due to govt college it is cheap.it is good as enough to make Yor life good . it will make you a doctor .it will provide good faculty and administrative services.I always thanks to college who make me and my life. End last I have no word to represent this college.
Quite cheap. 40-45K per semester. In all 8 semesters. You need to pay in the form of demand draft of a nationalised bank. No other modes of payment accepted. No other additional fees and you will get a receipt of fee payment in case you have taken a loan / mortgage.
74000/year, It's very cheap as compared to private medical College which have fees ranging from 7 lack to 35 lack per year. It's a government institutions so fees is very less. But even the facility are also very poor.
My college, RCSM GMC Kolhapur is a Govt Medical College where entire expenditure is done by state government. The open category students pay 84000 rs as first year fees, while OBC pays RS16000. I think the fees is feasible.
As it is a government college Fee structure is based on the rules and regulations as per government of maharashtra.the fees structure is divided into two categories-1)based on the caterories -the open catagory has higher fees structure about 60000 in the first year and it goes on decreasing as year passes.the other categories has lower fees around 20000 and goes on decreasing as year passes
