About Pithapur Rajah's Government College
Pithapur Rajah’s College, Kakinada founded in 1884 is one of the earliest institutions for higher education in South India. The college offers courses in the disciplines of arts, commerce, and sciences. The primary motive of the institution is to embed academics in the life of the socially backward and sweat to accomplish the same. The college is amongst the first college to grant total fee exemption for meritorious girl candidates. Settled in the heart of Kakinada, the college is conferred with “College with Potential Excellence” status by UGC for its innovative academic model.

Infrastructure
- The lush green campus is spread over 35 acres which facilitates the academic development of learners.
- Free Internet facility for all students.
- The college grants sufficient funds for infrastructural development which helps in keeping a conducive atmosphere.
- Each classroom is well-furnished and suitably ventilated with adequate lighting and fans. LCD and OHP facility is also available for specific departments.
- Mana TV, a State Government sponsored channel is inclined towards college curriculum for telecasting of lessons for enhancing the knowledge and skills towards the subject. The topics are telecasted at the seminar hall which has a seating capacity of 400+ members.
Laboratories
- All 25 science labs are well maintained and renovated whenever required. The labs meet the modern specification of today’s world.
- Safety is the prime concern in PRGC which is ensured by fire extinguishers and first aid kits fitted in every laboratory.
- The college updates the ICT Centre for the smooth functioning of all teaching and learning activities. The Lan Network helps in research on topics relevant to the courses for faculty and students.

- The Library has a huge collection of over 68,000 texts and reference books. A separate journal collection caters to the needs of research for the students and departments.

Admission:
The Admission process is not so difficult, We go through online and give our college as a preference through web options. The allotment is gone through some category wise and after the seat allotment, you'll be confirmed through a phone call or letter.
Likes
- Our maths faculty are good at teaching. I like their teaching methods.
- Placement opportunities in my college is super.
Dislikes
- There are lot of trees in my college because of trees there is a lot of waste of dried leaves.
- Need some more extra classrooms needed in college.
Admission:
Our eligibility in my course is intermediate. The application form process at my college is very comfortable and easy. In our i.e., before corona, each application form is 80 rupees. Fees are also very low. Nowadays it is going online. There is no entrance exam.

- Neat ness about washrooms and having less washrooms for departments

The student who gets a minimum of above 70% will eligible for the course. The application form, application fees, and application dates will be released on the prgc website and also on the notice board. All the admission process is good in my college.

- The washrooms are insufficient.

Eligibility requires a good pass percentage of the intermediate. If you have good marks in intermediate then it will be easy to get a seat in the college. The online application process is on the janmabhoomi website. There is some benefit if you are an OBC student. All is good in the admission process.

In my college admissions are taken place through an online Procedure and they definitely have the required merit to join, our college provides a wide range of courses according to student's interests, which they can choose

Most of the lectures are not from government faculty. And are managing by contract faculty. College management is excellent. Contract faculty is very bad. The admission process is very selective and is based on marks and caste. Students with bad percentage can't get admission into our college. The principal is very strict. Our college has good sports and NCC.

Everything was excellent regarding this course curriculum and facilities in this college Syllabus was updated every year and every semester that are new topics with industrial tours too For every course, syllabus was modules like with separate parcticals

In management there is no bad remark every thing they did good.
