The Department provides internship opportunities to the students. Last year, the Department offered an Internship in District Legal Services Authority, Ambala under the guidance of learned CJM sir. It provides a wide range of experiences and visits to Central Jail, old age home, Juvenile Home, Protection Centre, etc. There is no stipend available. This internship helps the students to learn and understand the working of the Courts, Police stations, and their allied institutions.
Yes of course...In each semester, our department organized an internship programme in district court Ambala so that we can gain practical knowledge too...at the beginning of new semester...students have to shoe their maintained record during the internship.
In each semester we were availed with an opportunity to go for a visit in District Court Ambala for an internship. At the beginning of the new semester. We had to submit the record in the department which we were managed during our internship session.
No, the college does not even provide sufficient time for an internship. They don't encourage students for internship. If a student himself find an internship they never support the student with any help which they can give. The semester exams are always late and no prior information is given to the students so they can apply for internships anywhere. The students from other states suffer the most from this kind of attitude of the college.
