Pros and cons of shree devi college Mangalore

Likes

I like the way teachers and principal are very friendly
Teachers will help you with any problem or any situation no need to hesitate

Dislikes

There's no proper huge campus the college is located in the middle of the city
The hostel facility is not that good for the price

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I have taken a loan as my father wants to make me more responsible and wants me to pay my fees by myself. The total cost of my education is 236000 and the hostel fee of 84000. And some minor charges like event fees all these have to be paid. There are merit-based scholarships.

I liked the college vibe it was just positive vibe
I like the infrastructure of the college

Dislikes

I disliked that there was no placement opportunities for the students
There was no internships provided by the college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fee we had to pay ?40000 and there was even like we can pay the half fee first and then pay the rest money its not like on the day of admission itself we are supposed to pay the full amount. There was employment opportunity given by the college

The faculty of E&C department are really cool and friendly.

Dislikes

There are no proper campus placements in the college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

If you join the college through KCET, then you have to pay the government seat's fees, along with the donation. If you join the college through management, fees is considerably more. SSP scholarship provided by the government of Karnataka is really helpful.

Good clean classrooms and toilets for students
Well maintained surroundings and safety measurements.

Dislikes

No good machined and filtered drinking water
No bus facilities for long distance students studying

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

10% of the current fees can be hiked in future years. Rs 60,000 SSP is a scolarship which is availed for karntaka students only. Inventory Management was my topic and it was very easy to do get the scholarship and proceeders

The Teachers and cultural activities conducted.
Well maintained class rooms and class benches.

Dislikes

No campus to be out with friends to have a good times
No air conditioner as per the temperature is too high

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fee structure is worth the course as per my opinion. My course is of BBA (logistics) that comes of 3 year course with 75,000 for first year and 70,000 for both second and third year. The amounts of scholarships provided by the college is about 3-4 in a year. Students can also take study loan from the bank with the permission from college.

I did not get any scholarship from there . I applied loan for my studies and they gave their papers for that to get it. I had a loan of 4 lakh for my course from state bank of India. they will allow loan payment for studies
