Likes

The faculties are well qualified and the quality of education is well versed
Infrastructure of the college is really good and hygienic

Dislikes

No big campus as the total number of students is too much compared to the space of the campus
The canteen is too small for the total number of students and also the number of canteens is less

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college are good as this year we did not have a lot as due to recession but the college does have a good track record of placements of more than 80% the highest package i know of is 12lpa at wipro this year the percentage of students getting placed was 30% but usually it varies from 80-90 JOB AFTER DEGREE!

Likes

The quality of infrastructure is really very well maintained and also has the good ventillation is provided inside the college
The college has the wide campus along with 2 cafeterias one inside the building other outside the building

Dislikes

The roads nearby are a bit downfall that too during the rainy season students find it difficult to travel through the road
The price of the canteen food is a bit high but the quality is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The structure of the curriculum is well-planned or organised. There are a lot more practical sessions or workshops that help the students to cope up with real-world problems or the competitive world. There is no problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams. Sometimes the students may find it difficult to cope up with it.

well built infrastructure of the college with well equipped classrooms with modern technique aids
Specialized labs , Auditoriums for seminars and cultural activities

Dislikes

some instructors have teaching style that are hard to follow or lack effective communication skills
roads are not well constructed to the college and passes near the gutter

Placement Experience:

Usually from 6 th semester students are eligible for campus placements.companies like Wipro,TCS,and Infosis mass hire their candidates visit the campus also many startup companies usually visit the campus.Highest package offered was 12lpa 3 years back but this year the it was only 8lpa.about 70% of students are getting placed in the company placements.Students are being trained from 2nd year for the placement drives.

The college offers a good learning environment and the teaching staffs are really good.The classes are very interactive because of which the students find it easieer to cope up with the academics
College has the wide campus along with the playground for sports along with the basket ball court.The campus has wide parking area.

Dislikes

The space in canteen is not sufficient as it cannot accomodate more students.Due to which the students find it difficult to get the food order on time
The faculty to student ratio is compromised.There are fewer faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course offered by the department is very good and understandable. The course also enables you to apply the knowledge from academics to the real world problems. The areas of improvements would be in conducting more number of workshops. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect.

The campus building has a professional civil engineering marvel.
The consecutive efforts from the department organising various various workshops and seminars.

Dislikes

Few lecturers who are a bit arrogant and not friendly unlike others.
Canteens being only 2 in the whole campus although we need more than 4 for the number of students.

Placement Experience:

This year due to recession the campus placement being less up to 30%-40% of the students 6th sem being eligible and also few companies already arrived at the college to place the ece 6th sem students who are still in their 5th sem Infosys, Wipro, tcs, Mangalore, infotech, etc. highest package being 9lpa this year to one of our super super senior and the average being 3-4lpa I don't have more info regarding the placements as we aren't allowed to the placement department before 3rd semester. 35% approx. this year but up to 90% last year and so on I am planning to work with pursuing MBA correspondence.

I liked about the college infrastructure
Mangagment is supportive regarding fees payment

Dislikes

No proper funtions and fest comducted in college
Hostel and college canteen food is average and canteen food is highly priced for small quantities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my cource electronics and communication which is basically tough cource in engineering compared to other branches. But faculty guided and gave a proper teaching with audio and vedio lessons they supporing towars solving our doubts and we had separate lessons regarding circuit building and VLSI domain which is essential for EC students

The patient input in our hospital and medical college is commendable . There is a wide range of exposure with different clincal cases . Also with enhanced technology and recent advances we get to learn the best treatment modalities available .
The college focuses on sports and physical fitness along with academic excellence .

Dislikes

Weather could be Little humid and hot as It is present along the coast line..

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college is in coordination with the national medical College, curriculum and regulations. The college academic set up is in accordance with the competencies given by the NMC. The exams are relevant with moderate to difficult level and are conducted on a regular basis. The clinics gives us a wider spectrum of medicine and it's patient input is Quite appreciable.

My Honest Review—AJIET ENGINEERING COLLEGE

the way of teaching is really good .they make us understand and they conduct internal exams with 2 and half module each begore the end exam.
There are placement opportunities in the college as this year a lot of mechanical students got placed .

Dislikes

Things i don’t like are the campus life in the college .the college doesn’t provide much outside exposure and only concentrates on studies.
The campus is really strict with strict rules and regulations.if anything is done against the rules strict actions are taken including suspension and dismissal.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements available within the campus as this is a main vtu college in Mangalore. I think placement opportunities start from the 7th semester onwards. this year last month a lot of mechanical students were placed with an average of 7 lakh per annum. In civil I don't know if there are placement opportunities or not and I am not depending on that. companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS, robust, etc. are offering students job opportunities with a minimum package of 4 lakh per year.

The infrastructure is quite good. The library here is well equipped. The classrooms all have Air-conditioning
There is a good balance between academics and other activities

Dislikes

The patient exposure isnt that great. You do get to see a lot of rare cases though
The college is slightly away from the city centre. That might pose a hindrance for students who dont own their own vehicle

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is set by rguhs and is based on the cbme curriculum. It stops the age old rote learning and has lots of practical application. Furthermore most of the questions are clinical based. The university conducts one final exam at the end of the year which holds in for the majority of the percentage and is difficult initially.

Infrastructure was very very good with good labs etc
Well design lab and library with large number of books and generals

Dislikes

Wi-Fi should be provided to the students for their placements and other works
Canteen should be improved and prices should be decreased

In our college there is a very good placement cell is completely works to the placement of students and training for the students they also have good relationship with the companies they also have more you with meaning set of companies here to Mangalore and government offices more than 80 companies where visited to placement drive maximum number of students place in different companies average package was 16 LPA
