Maulana Azad B. Ed. College has a very healthy gender ratio. As a matter of fact, one would be surprised to know that there are 2 Female Students to every single Male Student. Apart from this we have outstation excursion trips carried out in tandem with students and staff Nature camps locally with a visit to hills, rivers, bird sanctuary and KRS Dam Brindavan Gardens, Mysore Zoo (Second Best Zoo in India), writing and essay competitions (I really enjoy participating in Quizs and Essay Competitions. I have just recently send my essay to UN sponsored essay titled "The Greatest Enemy of Knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge"). Apart from this we have the regular stuff like Sports competitions, Debates, cultural activities, recently we celebrated Teacher's Day in a Big way. There is a good bag mixture of students from different backgrounds and walks of life.
