Maharaja's College Mysore Admission
The whole admission process for all the courses offered is offline and merit-based. Any candidate who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the concerned qualifying examination.
Listed below is the application form for admission in Maharaja's College Mysore:
- The applicants will have to apply in the prescribed form which can be obtained from the college office on payment of the prescribed application fee.
- The candidates should duly fill the application form and submit it along with the required documents.
- All the documents should be duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- The students opting for B.A. courses are advised to write clearly the combination of the optional subjects that they want to study. They may write 2 combinations of optional subjects in their preferred order of preference in the application form.
- Admission of candidates will be considered only against available seats in the combinations mentioned in the application form in the order of preference indicated by the candidates. The request of any student will not be considered for admission to any other combination of subjects other than that indicated in his/her application form.
- The merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidate in the 10+2 examination.
- Students will have to produce all the original documents before the Principal of the college at the time of admission for physical verification, if any candidate fails to do so, his/her admission will be cancelled.

- Library: The college has one of the oldest libraries of the country, it has a vast collection of more than 2 lakhs of books and other resources. The library has a Digital Information Resource Centre which has 50 computers through which students can access many e-books and e-journals.
- Hostel: The college has separate hostels for boys and girls. Total 5 different hostels are available to accommodate the students of the college.
- Auditorium: There is an auditorium in the Centenary Building where all the literary and cultural activities of the students are organized.
- Postal and Banking Services: There is a branch of the Indian Post Office and State Bank of India inside the campus for the ease of the students and staff.
- Sports Facilities: There is a separate Director of Physical education who looks after the sports activities. Vast sports fields for outdoor games, an indoor stadium and a well-maintained swimming pool cater to the needs of the students who are interested in sports.

I was interested in pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English as I liked the subject, and I found the course was designed quite nicely, in fact. The topics included were all interesting, and delved deep into the subject matter. It was a little hectic with regular exams held every semester and a lot of topics to cover.

The college offers many courses and admission criteria is different for every course. The faculty of the college is so experienced. The students are also very disciplined and they are so good in their studies.

Our college gets its degree from University of Mysore. From dealing with the basics to giving us experience in business, the course was a complete package. They made sure we were learning business in terms of the recent market trends and included business models that were appropriate for both Indian and international markets. The course was not that hectic but it wasn't all chilled either.
