Specific aspects: The curriculum at RIT covers a wide range of subjects relevant to the chosen field of study.in electrical core subjects like maths, physics, chemistry along with electrical subjects are included.Elective courses are also available to streamline their interests. Real world applications: The curriculum provides both theoretical knowledge and also the practical skills necessary for real-world applications. Example-Lab sessions, expert talks, industry collaborations etc. Areas for improvement:industry relevance must be increased, soft skils development must be incorporated and in teaching methods, there must be interactive learningand also technology integration. Frequency and timing of exams: the frequency of exams depends upon the academic calendar generally being two internals and one semester exam. the timing is generally in the internals is the first houe of the day followed by regular classes, and sem exams are generally the first 3 hrs of the day.
they are good and helpful and whenever u need them they are available most of the time so yes if you have any doubt regarding and course then you can easily ask them for that, they will help you in every possible way. the exams are taken on time and after every interval.
The college contains very knowledgeable faculty, mostly Ph.D. holders or someone from foreign university. In my department, there were around 30 teachers for around 240 students. Exams were scheduled for the entire year in the start itself, scoring isn't very hard but to be in the top 10 you'll have to study regularly.
After doing some research online, I would suggest not to go for IEM at Ramaiah, until and unless you are extremely interested in studying that particular subject. Since it will not pay you anything and you will eventually wind up in the same category of mass placement at one of the service-based companies.
Double-check the topics you will be studying. EEE is usually less exposed than IEM, yet EEE is regarded as the most complex branch to be studied.
The majority of EEE / ECE / other branches receive job offers from Infosys, HCL, Accenture, or Tech Mahindra.
Parameters | IEM at Ms. Ramaiah | EEE at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering |
Tuition Fees | INR 3.47 lakh | INR 10 lakh |
Placement Percentage | 95% | 70% |
Highest Package | 13 LPA | 15 LPA |
Average Package | 7.6 LPA | INR 8 LPA |
So, what is the point of learning core Electronics if all you have to do at the conclusion of your engineering degree is code? If you want to build a career, think seriously about the branch you select. Regardless of the institution you attend, I believe EEE is far superior to IEM. Pursue EEE only if you are truly passionate about the subject.
