PTU campus and academic life

Environment around the campus is Rich in greenery
Campus is vibrant and full of diversity from other states

Dislikes

Roads are not built at par at certain places
Canteen and other amenities are too far from hostel

Faculty:

Faculty is well versed in their respective fields, and includes a good pool of professors who have had industry or prior academia experience and PhD. Some of them have worked in reputed organizations like ISRO as well

Likes

Things I like in the college is the staffs are more experienced.
I like the way they show more interest in sports.

Dislikes

I don't like the buildings because it is very old.
The college canteen will be bad , the cost is high

Faculty:

We have internal 50 marks and external 50 marks. In internal, we have to get atleast 30 to 40 marks to pass the internals. And for the externals the minimum mark we should get is 25 to 30 marks is compulsory.Our faculty is very well experienced.

In this college I like that all boys and girls are in same ratio
Also I like the programs and culture in this college

Dislikes

Here I didn't like the taste of the food in canteen
The college roads are not well in this college

Faculty:

In this college, the staffs are more than enough for the students and many of the staff are of good character. they will clear any kind of problem and the exams are simple but it hard to clear when we didn't study well

Most of the professors are encouraging and friendly
Have students coming from all parts of India so it will be a good opportunity to know their culture and tradition too.

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is very much less there. For some departments there are lack of faculties too. Gnanou Florence Sudha and Ananthalakshmi A V are the best and friendliest faculty in my department accodring to me. And Lakshmanapandian form CSE department was also good.

Teaching of staff was so good and it is easy to understand.

Dislikes

Maintenance of lab is not good and some equipment not working properly.

Faculty:

Teaching was so good. Staffs are knowledgeable and friendly. They clear doubts without any hesitation. Examination are conducted in good manner and marks are provided based on true knowledge and presentation.

Staffs are good at teaching in department
More free periods for students so that they learn other skills

Dislikes

Hoste food is worst and no signal inside the college
The distance between boys hostel and the department is approximately 1.5km

Faculty:

Overall 95 percentage faculties have completed PhD. Faculties are good and easy to approach. Not every faculty will be good some faculties are their, they are worst in both teaching and character. There are totally 3 assesment test for internals and one end semester exam. The assesment test carries 25 marks and end semester exam carries 60 marks. Question papers are easy. Courses are relevant to course curriculum.

It's a government collage and we have our own freedom here
The climate is very nice here, beach is opposite to the collage and we can go by walk to beach

Dislikes

Very old collage and the development works are very slow
In the hostels the mobile signal is unavailable

Faculty:

Faculty is very good in this collage there is nothing to say negatives about faculty, they teach well but untill you go and clarify your doubts yourselves, they act cool and if you wanna really study here and you have the ability to self study you can easily study here

They are experienced in both fields like industrial knowledge and updated mind. good communication skills and adaptive learning. They are updated to this current life. Wonderful lecture and be friendly with students. They offered counseling for students.

Faculty:

I am belongs to mechanical engineering department. In my department there around 20 faculty. Average age of the faculties ranging from 40 to 55. All are PhD holders. Some of them have done their mtech in top most IIT's of our country. Each faculty experts in their area of interest. So you will get adequate knowledge.
