Key Points:

Candidates passing their BA Part I or Part II examinations in Language groups with 50% marks are also eligible to take admission in MA program.
Candidates applying for M.Sc., belonging to OBC/SC/ ST category gets a relaxation of 2%, 20% and 20% marks respectively in the aggregate score.
Candidates seeking admission to MA, belonging to OBC/SC/ ST category gets a relaxation of 2%, 10% and 10% marks respectively in the aggregate score.
For M.S/M.Sc. courses, the seat reservation percentages for SC/ ST category are 15%, and 5% respectively.

University College Trivandrum M.Phil and Ph.D. Admission 2024

The college offers Ph.D. and M.Phil at the doctoral level in multiple specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in the doctoral courses is a Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks. Candidates who have done M.Phil with at least 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D. admission.

Selection in Ph.D. is based on a General Aptitude Test/ Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by University of Kerala. Selection in M.Phil is done on the basis of performance in an aptitude test including a synopsis of the proposed research dissertation conducted by the doctoral committee.

Exemption conditions:

Those who have qualified GC-NET/JRF, UGC-CSIRNET/JRF, SLET, GATE and research fellowships of central and state Government are exempted from the entrance test.
Candidates who have qualified DBT-JRF and have DST-INSPIRE fellowship are also exempted from the entrance test.
College teachers with more than 7 years of experience and candidates with DM/M.Ch degree is exempted from the test.
Scientists/Ayurveda doctors working in government-owned Pharmaceuticals/Hospitals/Research Centres with 7 years of experience and 2 published research papers are exempted from the test.
Candidates who are selected to the Quality Improvement Program introduced by AICTE are also exempted.

University College Trivandrum Application Process 2024

University College Thiruvananthapuram Scholarship Details

Scholarships are available for Nadar and Muslim Girl students who are studying in the College within the state of Kerala & whose parental income is below INR 8000 PA. The eligible students studying in the College will have to submit their applications in the prescribed form available at the college website.

Note: In case the applicant’s parents are dead, the income of her legal guardian will be deemed as the parental income. The scholarship amount will be INR 100 per month.

The main attraction of University College Thiruvananthapuram is the department wise library facility in the college. Each department has it's own library and so many books relating to each subjects.
As it is one of the top college in kerala,so many brilliant students are students are here.. And we get an opportunity to involves in many activities with them such as clubs, seminars etc

Dislikes

The only one thing I am disappointed in the college is the poor infrastructure.

Admission:

The admission process is through the official website of Kerala university. The eligibility is the marks obtained in the higher secondary board examination. Above 90 % is required to get admission. We get relaxation if we apply through sports quota or spot admission. I got a relaxation in fees on being in ews category

Admission:

Admissions are purely based on your higher secondary marks. Community reservations are also taken into consideration throughout the process. Admission into each college is through University website. 3 main allotments, followed by 2 supplementary allotments and spot admissions complete the admission process.

A college should need basic facilities and it was provided in my college there is no need to be afraid of anything if we need any help there would ve a lot of people to help us we just dont need to worry about anything if there is any problems exists
The campus could make many changes in my life as well as within myself as i was as an introvert i couldn't make many friends but from campus life i could gain many friends its full of joyto bein campus always full of fun and happiness and looks good

Dislikes

The college needs to be clean and healthy but thier is only few workers to clean the surrounding and making the campus looks bad it needs to be looking good too
The college doesn't have all educational facilities within it college needs to have all the equipments for study

Admission:

It was really hard to get admission firat of all the application was regiatered online and their were may allotments through trial we could understand the Chance's of getting the admission by first allotment i got allotted for my current course and college as second step i needed to take admission from college itself it was a full day situation i needed to go there and here for signs and for adsmisson process

The admission process is easy and cut-off mark is 50.I have attended entrance exam before college admission. Eligibility of this course is plus two pass. The application form is find from akshaya centre.

Staffs behavior college atmosphere arts fest sports activities

Admission:

Eligibility of the course is plus two science stream. The application process is through Kerala university official website. Application fee about 500 ruppees. Reservation is available for SC ST OBC and economically backward students. The exam will come every 6 month because of semester system. The admission process have to speed up.

Admission:

I like the eligibility criteria based on mark for all students . But reservation is not a suitable method.because, the general students who got high mark lost their opportunities for higher studies. Application form, application fees, application dates are search from Google website.It is very hard to find.

My admission procedures were quite easy. The eligibility for the course I am pursuing is 12 th grade, I had acheived 97.5 percebtage in 12 th grade, so for me getting admission was easy. I had attempted many competitive exams and i achieved some of them, but at the end i was afraid to outside of kerala due to the language problem.I applied for the college through akshaya centre and it was a clear cut process. University send me text mesaage when I got the admission.
