Bareilly College was established in 1837 and was first opened as a Government School in 1837 under the Liberal Government of Sir Charles Metcalfe. Its courses are affiliated to Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Ruhelkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly.
Bareilly college offers numerous under-graduation courses in B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.Ed., etc. as well as Post-Graduation in M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., etc. Various other professional courses of the duration of one-year are also offered by the college in Diploma or PG Diploma level. Admission to courses is merit-based while for LL.B., B.Ed., Master’s Courses, applicants will have to sit in entrance exam conducted by the university.

Bareilly College Under Graduate Admission 2024
The basic eligibility to apply for B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. is pass in the Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) of the state board or CBSE or any other equivalent examination with an aggregate of 45% marks in all the subjects. There is relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category.
The courses extend to the duration of 3-years and admission is granted based on merit in qualifying exam. For admission to LL.B. and B.Ed., candidate must sit in entrance exam conducted by the university.

Bareilly College invites online as well as offline applications for admission to its various programs. The application process for all the courses is as follows:
- Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the college office.
- Application forms can also be downloaded from the official website.
- Application fee including registration charges is INR 150 which may be paid online or through Demand Draft.
- Duly fill the application form and send the same to the admission office of the college.
- Authorities will scrutinize the application form and prepare the merit list which will be displayed on official website.
- Selected candidates are needed to visit the college for physical counselling on a prescribed date and time.
- Following documents (in Original) are to be produced before admission board at the time of admission along with Admission Form
- Offer Letter issued by MJP Rohilkhand University Admission Portal.

Admission:
I myself applied to only this college as it compared to others is very much student friendly and allows you to explorev other aspects of life by not pressurising you much and providing you with ample time time for it. Making sure you develope yourself by your own in other fields other than academics.

My college is very good for financialy weak students. They always used minimum fee structure of any students compare to another college it's fee structure is very good that's why I was choose this college.
Admission:
Eligibility for any graduation course is that you should be passed 12th with minimum 60 percent marks. You should choose your stream of graduation as per you 12 stream. Applications form will provided in online mode.
Likes
- The college is very big and impressive in nature and the buildings were very friendly. There are 4 fieldsand a lots of departnents like boxing, Persian and photography department, there are more than 100 courses and diplomas available in the college.
- There are also a big sitting library where you can sit and study for your class and for exams and there is a water cooler installed just near the library so that student drink cold and chilled water.
Dislikes
- Washroom for both ladies and gents are very bad and uncleaned and there is no facility for students to stay in hostile.
- There is more fighting in the college so that the mess of the hostle is always closed and students cook their own food.
Admission:
The admission process is very simple just apply through the website and wait for the merit and when you are under merit , go to the college submit the fee and join the classes. If you have reservation card you can got benefits in the admission and fees also .

- I whole college most of the students never attend classes
- There is no stirictness in studies in my department also

You should achieve good marks in your intermediate to take place in merit. After achieving 73 percentage in my intermediate I got place in 3rd and last merit list. My college conducted exams in every 6 months semester wise And there were two type of exams in every semester internal and external.

- It has a large area of hostel also and there are very big grounds for sports
- In science lab there are lots of chemicals and all the naccesarry material which is required to do any experiment
Dislikes
- There is no canteen in whole campus where we can enjoy food and we had to go out side
- Sanatization is also not so good in girls washroom

Firstly you have to register yourself from mjpru University than you can apply for admission in Bareilly college. At the time of application you need to share your last education certificate/ marksheet. I got my admission by merit list and because it's a government college so many students applied for limited seats and while achieving good marks in my 12th I got listed in 2nd merit list and there are only 3 merit list was approved by clg

- Each and every teacher is very supportive over there they always ready to help

- Classroom are very huge and there is no ventilation overe there
- There is no cafitarea we need to take lunch from home

The admission process is very easy and it very cheap Like all you need to do is:- 1- Fill the online form there fees is like 500 or less 2- Waiting for the cutoff, If u are under the Cut-off 3- You will receive a mail or an SMS from Bareilly college 4- After that u need to fill the admission for that's it.

- Faculty remains on leave , and are not serious enough to educate stuents well

Easy Admission process. With no entrance examination or any further examination marks . Only 12th pass the eligibility. Reservation of candidates as per caste can be seen . No further big requirements of documents etc... are not needed. Just 12 and 10 clqss marksheet with photos if candidate. Fill the admussion form. Pay the fees given. And you are all set to get an admission.

- computer softwares were not up to date with old softwares

admission process was based on merit basis. the college authorities provide two t0 three merit lists based on 12 marks and if your name is there then you are selected. you have to go to the college reception cell for the required information

- not up to date computer software like not using vs code and using turbo c
- the canteen food was quite high priced to be honest
Admission:
the admissions were purely based on the merit basis of 12 standard. the college provide merit lists according to which we are told whether we are selected or not . we have to go to the reception corner to see about our selection and take the admission form.
