I chose B.Com. because I'm a student of commerce background and I have a deep interest in this field. Choosing B.com. at this level would surely do me good in future. The exams were online and we didn't have any trouble in giving the exams because we were well trained by the faculty beforehand. Talking about the student-teacher ratio, there are 125 students per class which sometimes makes it difficult for the teachers to handle. The teachers are really very helpful and understanding.
I love this college. There are all kinds of facilities here. Very good classes are available. The teachers all teach the students very well. There are facilities like hostel facilities, parking facilities labs and playground facilities. Lots of trees and a good climate prevail here. This is a place to get positive energy.
Excellent reputation, good syllabus, refered MHRD List. Admission information is available in the website. Its a Excellent college they have a dynamic syllabus. Like it changes as times change. Our syllabus was set the year before we joined and by the time I graduated it already transformed a lot for our juniors. The best thing about Xavier's is the students. There is great college culture and a wonderful environment for studying. Students are encouraged to learn beyond and books and the system have a unique way of maintaining passion in students.

Usually, campus placements are from the third year of under graduation, but internships or even job options are available before that. Through the guidance of the professors or also listening to your peers, you may get to appear as an intern at small companies. Any kind of internship that may be, with small works, but what will matter is that students get an insight into the general functioning of an organization.
The placement percentage of the college is around 94%. The average salary package offered for freshers is 1.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered can be up to 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 1 LPA. All interested students get internships in various research laboratories, diagnostic companies, food and water industries and also in various biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Some of the top recruiting companies include Medreich, Indoco, BCIL, Suraksha Diagnostic, Lal Pathlabs, various CSIR and DBT research institutes all over India, Biocon, etc. Top roles are mostly offered in the research and development wing of industries and PhD supervisor, principal investigator, quality control, clinical analysis, etc.
After graduation students are eligible for campus hu placement. There are many companies that have visited the college for placement. The highest package offered was a BMM student got a package of 30 lakhs.
St Xavier?Ûªs being a good and reputed college with excellent faculty and atmosphere. College Placement are the best in the city under Mumbai university. Best college festival Malhar in India as per me. Didn't find any bad aspects of our college. Admission process is done online wherein you need to apply on the college website xaviers.edu. After applying your name should reflect in the first three cutoff list depending on marks scored in Math, and Computer science (optional) in class 12th. Admission dates are after the school results are declared.https://xaviers.edu
The college has a placement cell. Many reputed companies like McKinsey, EY, Citi Bank, Bain, PwC, AT Kerney, Times Internet etc visit the campus every year for placements. Highest package is around INR 15 LPA(ATKerney & Citi Bank), Avg around 5 LPA and lowest around 3 LPA. (Numbers are not official numbers). 30-40% of students who sit for placement get placed (This is my observation, not official numbers) Some students choose to go abroad to pursue their masters. I continued masters within India.
To pursue my under-graduation degree in one of the most reputed colleges in India was my dream. I had heard about St.Xavier's College from one of my cousin who have completed their under-graduation degree in chemistry in the same college. I was really fascinated by the infrastructure, library, syllabus and moreover about the practical sessions of the department of microbiology. I am from Kerala and have compared different colleges with St.Xavier's college. The availability of advanced practical equipments was the main difference I noticed from the colleges in my native place. Also studying somewhere out of Kerala for exposure and knowing different cultures was also my wish. These all qualities made me choose Xavier's.
