St. Thomas’ College, located in Thrissur, is an autonomous college, and is also known for being the oldest Catholic College in Kerala. The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut, and has 23 departments and 8 research centres.
St. Thomas’ College offers UG and PG level courses in under various specialization covering different aspects of arts, science, commerce and other professional streams. Admission to most of the courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. However, for certain courses, the candidates need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by college.

St Thomas College offers B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. courses under a number of specializations. B.A. is offered in two different subjects, whereas, B.Sc. is offered with eight different subjects. In addition, the college also offers B.Com in two subjects along with other specializations like BCA, BVC, BMMC, BBA, and B.Voc. All the UG courses offered are for a period of 3 years.
Admission to the UG courses are based on merit of the students at 10+2 level. The last date for the receipt of application form will be 15 days from the declaration of the result of the Higher Secondary Examinations of the Kerala State.
For Admission in the B.A. Functional English, B.Com. Computer Application and B.Sc. Psychology, the candidates need to sit for an entrance test.

St. Thomas College PG Admission 2024
St.Thomas College also offers a number of PG courses under various specializations. All the courses are for a period of two years. The subjects available for post graduation courses are Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Electronics, English, and Economics.
Admission to the PG courses are done on the basis of merit of the students at 10+2 level. However the college follows a different approach of admission for the courses mentioned below:
- The selection to MSW will be based on qualifying examination marks, entrance test, group discussion and personal interview
- The selection to M.Sc. Computer Science (Aided & Self Financing) will be based on qualifying examination marks & entrance test.
- An entrance test shall be conducted for those candidates whose core subject is not English and are looking forward to pursue PG in M.A. English course.

Application Process
- The application fees is Rs.150/- for General Candidates and Rs. 100/- only for SC/ST candidates including processing charge (Bank charges excluded).
- The candidate needs to visit the official website - stthomas.ac.in and click on the link - “Admission 2021”. Then do fill in the application form with all the details required along with relevant scanned documents.
- After entering all the data, the candidate can pay the fee either through online or chalan directly to the SBI Bank.
- You need to take out a print out of the hard copy which needs to be only submitted at the time of interview and not before that.

My college is a great college with a history of more than 130 years in the heart of Thrissur. The admission process to my college is difficult you should have minimum 90% marks in plus two for general seats and Cuet exam marks are also valuated. Only through management and community quota students with below 90% in plus two can apply

I got admission in keralavarma college and i joined there, but when i got a call from here i suddenly withdrew my tc and came to st thomas. The academic brilliance here is exceptional. Campus life is somewhat a little bit boring because of the town atmosphere but the college is absolutely enjoyable. The admission procedure is nothing other than publishing ranklist accordung to the +2 marks. Anr also self financing courses are there.

I Applied to Couple of Other Colleges which comes under Calicut University But st Thomas College was my First choice since it has a very High Placement rate in the State Among All Colleges. Students Should Have At least 90% marks in +2 to get into this College,I got Admission in the Last allotment, its very hard to get into and for some courses the cut off is even 98% marks in +2 ,The most Popular courses in the College is Bsc computer Science and B com

I chose St thomas because of it's reputation. It has been there since 1800's. Besides it is the only college in the state if kerala with this particular course and I say that is very impressive. The admission process is conducted online with an offline interview after being shortlisted. You need great scores in your school marks to be considered as the competition is pretty high.

I got admission to other collegs too. Vimala college is one another collge i got pg admission. But st. Thomas college is pretty much better than other colleges. For the pg admission we have to secure a percentage above eighty in the undergraduation.
