We paid 16000 during admission which was for a whole year and we paid a similar sum again at the start of 2nd year. We also paid 1200-1400 as exam fees before the final examinations of each semester. I haven't applied for any scholarship, aid, or job until now therefore I do not have any insight on those.
The earlier fee was 11k yearly but this year there was a hike of 3k. There was a hike in all colleges of Delhi University this year. Scholarships and aids for general and reserved seat holder is provided.
As DU is a central and government-aided university the fees here is not much and can easily be afforded by the middle class. Also we can avail a lot of scholarships available on the college website, and also can enroll for the National Scholarship Program. Also the Placement Cell of the college provides the students with various internship and placement opportunities.
The cost of study for my course is relatively cheaper than many other courses. For economically weaker students, there is an option to apply for scholarships but i didn't apply for it. The students can fill up the scholarship form and submit it to their respective offices.
This course is a very good choice if you want to look the world around you with a different perspective. The faculties in venky will allow you to look beyond books and learn with examples around you.
The college provides a scholarship to students who's family income is less than 1 lpa. The fees is returned to the student by the end of the year on producing relevant documents.
It offers scholarship based on merits and sports quota grants. Also the college has special grants for economically week sections. It has reservations for backward classes too. I haven't as though availed the scholarship or loan facilities.
I don't know about any scholarship offered by our college but I'm sure there must be loan facility for students who wish to pay the fees in installments. Overall, it's a very good option for everyone out there.
